This practice is based on the tradition of Advaita (Non-Duality), emphasizing the realization that there is no 'self' separate from existence. By experiencing yourself as water in nature, you realize that being in the ocean is your true nature. The "ocean" is a metaphor for the unbounded and infinite consciousness. Now,

We are starting with this practice,

Non-duality meditation.

You can gradually close your eyes.

Let's start with relaxing the body.

Bring your awareness to your head and relax your head,

Neck,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Hands.

Become aware of your chest and relax your chest,

Your belly,

Upper back,

Lower back.

Relax your pelvis,

Your hips,

Thighs,

Knees,

Calves.

And relax your feet.

Now,

Become aware of your emotions,

Your feelings,

Your energy.

And without any judgment,

Simply observe,

Simply become aware of your energy.

And now become aware of any thoughts crossing your mind.

Observe these thoughts as if you are watching them from a distance.

Let these thoughts come and go.

As you root yourself in a state of awareness,

Beyond the thoughts.

Maybe you can visualize these thoughts as bubbles floating in front of you.

Let these bubbles come and go,

Pop mid-air.

As you simply observe,

Rooted in awareness.

And now bringing your awareness to your breath.

Let the breath come to its natural rhythm.

By simply observing it,

Not trying to force it,

Change it,

Make it deeper or shallow.

Simply observing.

The breath knows how to get back to its natural rhythm.

Just observe this inflow and outflow of the breath.

And now in your mind's eye,

Visualize,

Imagine,

And in your heart,

Experience that you are the ocean.

Experience this vastness of the ocean.

As if it is an ocean with infinite water,

With no limits.

An infinite ocean.

Feel the totality of it.

Feel the expanse of it.

Let yourself be infinite,

Without any bounds.

Without any bounds.

And now visualize and feel that you are evaporating due to the heat of the sun.

And you are turning into vapor,

Gas.

The sun's heat is evaporating the water of the ocean.

And you are now rising above the surface of the ocean,

Turning into water vapor.

And as you are rising above the ocean as this water vapor,

You started feeling separate.

It's a state of confusion.

Just moments ago you were this infinite ocean.

And now you have become separate from the ocean.

You have turned into this water vapor.

And now rising above,

You have reached the clouds.

You have now become the cloud.

And you are floating in the air above the earth's surface as this cloud.

And you are looking at the ocean below.

And still this feeling of separateness and maybe a little bit of confusion.

And why am I separate from the ocean now?

And now you have turned into a raindrop.

Ready to fall on earth.

And as you are falling on earth as this raindrop,

Again this raindrop,

As this raindrop,

Again this feeling of separateness.

Maybe there is a slight fear here that I am separate as this raindrop.

I am alone.

I am lonely.

I am falling.

But then you land into a river with a splash.

As this raindrop,

You are now falling into this river that is flowing down the mountain.

And now you have become the river.

Once again you feel slightly more expanded as this river.

It feels better to be a river than a raindrop.

You feel this expansion.

And you have started flowing down the mountain.

You are moving across these different landscapes as this river.

Forests.

Cities.

Villages.

Towns.

Now once again,

As this river,

You are ready to merge with the ocean.

This river ends into the ocean.

And now you have merged with the ocean.

Once again,

You have become the ocean once again.

Once again you feel expanded.

Feel this expansion of becoming this infinite ocean once again.

Feel this wholeness,

This limitlessness being unlimited.

Notice that this separation was just temporary.

Temporary.

This becoming of the vapor,

Raindrop,

River was just a temporary separation.

In fact,

It was just an illusion.

That you always are the ocean.

You might go through these different stages,

But you will always come back to the ocean.

Being the ocean is your true nature.

Being enlightened is your true nature.

Being enlightened is your true nature.

Being whole and complete,

Infinite,

Is your true nature.

Bring yourself totally into this moment.

And see that there is no separate self.

That you are never separate.

You are never separate.

That you are always the ocean.

Just for this moment,

Let go of the notion of being separate.

Of the notion of being a self,

An ego.

An identity.

Letting go of that and just being.

Just being.

Just being.

And at the same time,

Not being.

Being nothing.

Pure emptiness.

Pure nothingness.

And then whenever you are ready,

Gradually allow yourself to come back to this temporary notion,

This illusion of the self.

Become aware of your body.

You can wiggle your toes,

Move your fingers.

And then,

In your own time,

You can come out of the practice and open your eyes.

Wow! What a beautiful practice. So interesting to experience the water in so many ways. My experience in the meditation was no pain when I as water changed form. It was jus being. it was a natural process of being one with the sea, to being one with the steam, to being one with the cloud, to becoming a raindrop to becoming one with the river. For me it was an experience of unity the hole time, no feeling of separation! Water I Love you. Water I Thank you. Water I Respect you ❀️🌊❀️ Thank you Saqib πŸ™. You are a gift to the world! And to the water!
