You are listening to the guided meditation of the module on focus and productivity.

We will first practice the technique of counting and then gradually move on to scanning.

While counting the number of breaths,

In case your mind deviates,

You can resume your counting from the number you left off once your focus is back on your nostrils.

For scanning,

Listen to my voice carefully as I will be guiding you throughout this technique.

Now get yourself sitting into a comfortable position with your back straight.

Now gradually close your eyes.

Now feel your presence in your surrounding,

The weight of your body,

The sounds around you.

Now bring your focus to your breathing and your nostrils.

Now now feel the sensation of the air of your breath on your nostrils.

Now count five complete breaths.

If you finish counting five breaths,

Then you can start counting from one again.

Now now gradually bring your focus to your head and imagine a ring of bright white light circling your head.

Now now this ring of light has a lot of positive energy in it and it will calm and relax your body as you will move it downwards.

Now gradually move this ring of white light downwards towards your face and as you move this ring feel the sensations in that part of the body.

Now now move it towards your chest.

Now towards your navel now and now move it towards your feet.

Now now now in a similar fashion move this white light from your feet towards your head.

Now now feel the sensations where the light moves and feel that part relaxing.

Now now place that ring back on your head and feel your mind relaxing.

Now now leave the focus from that ring and let your mind be free.

Now gradually bring back your attention to your surroundings,

The weight of your body,

The sounds around you and any other physical sensations.

Now and now gradually open your eyes.

Now remember that it is focus that leads to productivity and efficiency.

The more time you stay focused the better results you produce.

A good way of maintaining focus is to dedicate packets of hours throughout your day to complete focus.

Let's say you decide to dedicate two hours in the morning to completing a task.

During those two hours shut down all distractions.

Switch off your phone or keep it away from you on a silent mode.

Don't talk to anybody and don't let your thoughts take control of you.

Instead watch your thoughts and let them pass if they occur and bring back your focus to your task.

Have a happy and a productive day.

See you in the next module.

Fantastic! I could literally feel the white beam of light running down my body like energy. My mind didn’t wonder once after the counting excercise.

As I continue to struggle with ADD I came here after his fascinating Live class. The meditation was a good set up to suggest productivity is all about focus. So, compartamentalize. On it.

This is a vital process for me to work in. As I am retired for over five years now, with many responsibilities and taking care of my own home and many connections with other people, I find myself often times thinking I didn’t get done what I needed to do during the day because I didn’t stay focused on one task at a time. I look forward to improving in this area of my life, with your help. Thank You 🙏

Interesting… very good. Focus. Don’t put off till tomorrow what can be done today. I have already prepared my workspace so now to get out the tools. The clay, and the huge mould. Procrastination has hovered for way too long! Why? We’ll best not waste my thoughts answering that. Things I have learnt today. Thank you. A* 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
