So,
Now we are starting with the meditation.
You can allow your eyes to gradually close.
And I will start this practice with a quote from the Sufi tradition.
Wherever you turn,
There is the face of God.
Wherever you turn,
There is the face of God.
Just notice how this line resonates with you.
And now,
Gradually bringing your awareness to your breath.
And just for a while,
Simply noticing the inflow and the outflow of the breath.
Rooting your awareness on the flow of the breath.
Anchoring yourself in the present moment experience.
If at any point,
The awareness is distracted without any judgment,
Gently bringing your awareness back to the breath.
And now,
Visualize that there is a shower of light coming from above.
And these beams of light are now coming down on your head.
These beams will dissolve the body,
The ego,
Into the light.
Making the ego disappear and making you one with the light.
So,
Feel now the crown of your head dissolving into the light.
As this light penetrates your head,
You can now feel your face dissolving into the light.
Disappearing.
Feel your neck dissolving into the light.
Let the shoulders and the chest be dissolved into the light.
Let your arms and hands be dissolved into the light.
Feel your whole upper body disappearing as your belly and your back dissolves into the light.
Now,
Feel your pelvis,
Your hips dissolving into the light.
Feel your thighs and your knees dissolving into the light.
And finally,
Feel your calves and your feet dissolving into the light.
Now,
The ego has disappeared.
You have disappeared.
And you have become one with the light.
It's as if you were a drop that has merged into the ocean and that has become the ocean.
This is known as Fana,
Self-annihilation.
Letting go of the self to become one with the one.
Experience infinity.
Notice this experience of becoming one with the one.
What is the experience of being infinite?
What is the experience of being one with God?
And now,
Gradually allow the vision of the world to come up.
First of all,
Allow the vision of yourself,
Of your body to come up.
See yourself as a human.
And notice if God shines through you.
Notice if there is God in you.
Now become aware of the world around you.
Notice if there is God all around you in the world.
Think of a tree.
And notice if there is God in the tree.
Or maybe the tree is in God.
Now become aware of an animal.
Notice if there is God in this animal.
Or maybe this animal is in God.
Become aware of a stone.
Notice if God's being is in this stone.
Or maybe this stone is in God.
And now,
Most significantly,
Become aware of a person whom you might think is evil or wrong.
Become aware of a person who is considered to be evil.
And notice if God is in this person.
Or this person is in God.
Wherever you turn,
There is the face of God.
If God is everywhere,
Then is God in this person too?
Now become aware of any situation in your life that might be challenging,
Difficult.
Become aware of any suffering or darkness.
And notice if you can see God in this situation as well.
Or seeing this situation as a part of God.
Wherever you turn,
There is the face of God.
Now realizing the oneness in everything.
Realizing that everything is one.
Everything is God.
Just allowing yourself to experience this oneness with existence.
And then gradually allowing yourself to start coming out of the practice.
Becoming aware of your body.
Becoming aware of your breath.
You can wiggle your toes,
Move your fingers.
And then very slowly,
In your own time,
You can allow the eyes to open.
Bringing this meditation to its completion.
Thank you for watching.
