Here I speak about food, how many of us relate to it and their main role in our lives. I share a perspective that may help us to rise above any perception or perspective on foods that we may have, and to liberate ourselves.

Today I am wishing to share with you some thoughts about food.

We as human beings have particular foods that fit us better than others,

Just like all the other species around the world.

However,

Whatever we decide to eat is not going to define our true and deep identity.

We are souls or spirits or non-physicals having human experiences and this fact is not going to change or depend on the food we eat.

We continue living and seeing ourselves as humans,

Whether we eat a papaya or a tomato,

As we don't turn into those by eating them.

We got so confused and worried about what we should eat that we started to divide foods into groups and naming each of them.

We now call ourselves according to that,

Such as vegan or vegetarian or paleo,

Keto,

Raw and so on.

I have this feeling that the affirmation we are what we eat got too far.

In the beginning it was all about giving us a great push towards a more conscious and appropriate diet in case we wanted to improve our health conditions or simply to reach our full potential.

It also gave us the idea that choosing the right food for our human structure could be one of the keys to allow our bodies and minds to heal,

Which in my personal experience is so so true.

However,

In the meantime we got into this foods confusion where we argue about what are the best foods for us and we judge ourselves and others for whatever food we eat.

Whether we stick to one diet or change it over and over again,

We tend to wear all the labels that come with it.

This happens because we allow ourselves to identify with the foods we eat by calling each of us their names and then we have no other choice than dealing with the unstable emotional consequences of it.

Despite the obvious similar characteristics we all have,

Everybody is unique and the only thing we really know is how we feel and that is mainly due to our personal beliefs,

Thoughts and consequent emotions,

Which of course are also determined by the food we eat and so many other aspects.

We live by experience.

Nobody can experience someone else's life and vice versa.

If we want to truly know something,

We have to live it and in what comes to food,

The only way to know what is after all our proper food is to actually try it and feel the result of it as most of us seem to have little contact with our natural intuitive ability to effectively choose what to eat and no matter what name we give to that food,

It is there only to feed us as fuel with the amount of pleasure that comes with it.

In the end,

It's all a continuous process of evolving,

Nothing else and each of us is on our own level of consciousness.

Food matters in what comes to the well-functioning of our bodies but it's just food.

We are above all those concepts.

We are all one,

A perfect symphony of musical instruments in which each of us plays a marvelous unique note no matter what we eat and yes,

The better and higher frequency we eat,

The better and higher frequency we play.

Food anxiety is such a big thing in the US and I’m sure many other places. I chose peace, gratefulness, pleasure and gentle, permissive moderation.
