Today I want to talk about the way the Universe communicates with us.
Because we have so many thoughts about how our lives are and how they should be,
And because we are so used to view things always through the same perspective,
We sometimes don't see that the Universe is actually delivering many precious blessings to us.
We also tend to judge many simple and harmless things as bad,
Just because they were not planned,
Especially if they disrupt somehow our daily routines.
Most of the times we just get upset for realizing that we can't control everything after all.
We are so focused on feeling bad about the unexpected that we may miss the opportunity of living great new experiences.
This can be related to any basic thing that happens in our lives,
Such as the train that we couldn't catch in time,
Or the dog who waked us up during the night,
Or the person we accidentally bumped into when we were running to work.
At first,
These things may appear to happen just with one purpose,
To bother us,
Right?
But if we look closely,
Maybe that's not the case at all.
Yes they can be disturbing,
But they can also be a blessing in disguise.
Maybe we were supposed to take another train in which we meet an old friend who gives us some important information,
Or maybe waking up at night would make us see that we had left the heater on.
Or maybe that person we bumped into becomes our next lover,
Who knows?
We don't know if we don't give it a try,
And it doesn't help if we get upset about it,
Because we won't be able to enjoy it as much as we would if we were more open to the adventure itself.
And yes,
Some things may not appear much like an opportunity to be happy,
But at least they can be a moment of patience,
Or gratitude,
Or appreciation,
And that itself may lead us to a significant moment.
One of these days,
I was driving my car,
And all the vegetables that I had just bought fell off from the back seat,
So I had to pull over and put them all back.
While I was doing that,
I've noticed that I was actually in front of a place of holistic therapies that I have been looking for lately,
And right next to it there was this door that sells crystals,
Another thing that I had also been looking for.
I felt as if the universe threw the vegetables on purpose,
So that I had to stop on that street and receive what I've been asking for.
If I had complained when everything fell off,
Would I have listened to the message?
Maybe I would be so busy on feeling frustrated that I wouldn't even look around and be open to receive.
Living in a very restricted way is not going to make us feel better,
On the contrary,
And the surprises will always be there,
Always,
Whether we perceive them as good or bad,
No matter how much we try to limit our experiences.
Life itself pulls us in a sense of being more free and playful.
It's up to us if we allow it or not,
And once we do,
Life can become so much easier.
Actually,
Thanks to this unknown factor,
We can sometimes have more fun by simply embracing the little details that at first would make us angry or frustrated.
Imagine if our lives would be the same every day,
The exact expected things,
The exact expected people,
Nothing to be surprised with,
How boring would be that type of life.
But no,
We have been blessed with this surprising kind of life in which everything is possible.
The truth is that the universe is always,
Always working out for us,
No matter what,
And sometimes through the weirdest signs and events,
But we have to be ready to receive,
Otherwise we may miss it.
Once we find value in everything that happens to us,
Then everything starts to make sense.
So next time we find ourselves on the verge of getting mad at something unexpected,
Instead let's allow it to unfold naturally as when we enthusiastically move on to the next page of a book without knowing what is written there.
