When I came across this Purna Mantra, the words spoke to me even before I looked into the meaning. This mantra and meditating on it, has given me greater acceptance of who I am. We struggle when we lose a job, relationships, financial burden or illness. We feel incapable and incomplete to move beyond these struggles. I hope this chant and meditating on it will give you healing and peace. Om Shanti.

Welcome.

I want to share with you a mantra that I discovered a few years ago.

Meditating on this mantra has allowed me to experience who I am,

Bringing greater awareness to the choices I make and what I am pursuing.

Before I share this mantra with you,

Please allow me to ask you a question.

What are you desiring now?

Is that desire coming from what we see around us?

The desire to be in a relationship,

Career,

Material success that on the surface seems to provide happiness.

The pursuit can never feel like it's enough because we are not acknowledging our real self.

In the ancient yogic texts there is a mantra that reminds us that we are already whole or complete.

Purana in Sanskrit means whole,

Full or complete.

Here is the mantra.

Shanti Shanti Shanti.

The translation goes something like this.

That is complete.

This is complete.

From complete comes complete.

Though this complete taken from that completeness,

This completeness remains complete.

Om Peace Peace Peace.

It's through the Self-realization we choose to act.

Instead of looking out there to complete us,

Look inwards into our own being.

Letting go of the conditioned thoughts,

Our way of living outwardly.

Live through the authentic self.

Let's get ready for our practice.

Take a seat.

A seat of awareness.

Awareness of your body.

Extending from the sit bones through the spine towards the top of the head.

Allow the shoulders to release,

The eyes to soften.

Bring a light to awareness of your thoughts.

Awareness of your feelings.

Awareness of your desires.

How well are these thoughts,

Feelings and desires serving you?

Are these thoughts,

Feelings and desires of others that you are seeking?

Seeking validation,

Seeking love,

Seeking perfection.

In this moment awaken to you,

To your skin,

Your body.

Awaken and awareness to your authenticity.

Awaken and awareness to your journey.

Awaken and awareness to your inner vibration.

The inner journey of your soul that is complete.

Bring your hands to your heart place.

Feel into your heart.

Now take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

One more time.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Connect your mind to your heart.

Rest into the inner vibration.

Let it remind who you truly are.

So breathe into your heart,

Soul and into your being.

Be in your own radiance and your own gifts.

You are complete from within.

That's what is complete from within flow through you.

The love,

Compassion,

Resilience,

Patience,

Strength,

Creativity.

Let it all flow through you.

Let it bring down the walls.

Let it clear the doubts.

Awaken to yourself.

Purana.

Whole,

Full,

Complete.

Stay in this great awareness of who you are.

Let it heal any loneliness,

Pain,

Struggles and sorrow.

Be in this completeness,

Wholeness,

Fullness of who you are.

Again take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

It's from this awakened self your journey continues.

Let this place of completeness lead and guide you.

Now ask yourself again,

What am I seeking?

Let your aspirations flow from this place that you are already complete.

Gaze into your own being.

Let that inner vibration remind you that you are already complete.

Whatever you seek cannot complete you more than you already are.
