Welcome to your mindfulness meditation on your breath,
Coming to a comfortable position and gently closing down your eyes,
Feeling your entire body and sensing your inner mood.
Begin to encourage your body to soften and surrender into this moment.
Let this be an invitation of relaxation for your body,
Mindfully turning your awareness to your breath without changing its natural pattern,
Observing each inhalation and every exhalation,
Listening to the sound of your breath,
Noticing the way your breath moves in and out of your body.
Starting to change the movement of your breath by breathing in and out through your nose.
As you breathe in,
Follow your breath through your nasal passages and down into your lungs.
Gently following your breath as it leaves your lungs,
Moving through your throat and releasing out your nose.
Drawing in your next inhalation from your nose and encouraging it all the way down into your belly,
Observing the next exhalation leaving your belly and slowly being released into your lungs.
For every inhalation and exhalation,
Starting to silently count each breath,
Breathing in for a count of about 5 seconds and breathing out for a count of about 5 seconds,
Starting that now,
Gradually finding balance between your inhalation and exhalation.
Excuse me for just a moment for a couple of more variants.
.
.
If you lose track of your breath at any time,
Gently bring yourself back to the breath and start counting again.
Continue following your breath as it guides you into a place of peace and calm.
Staying fully present with your breath by continuing to count the length of each inhalation and exhalation.
At this point you might explore slowing down the breath.
Staying fully present with your breath by continuing to count the length of each inhalation and exhalation.
Staying fully present with your breath by continuing to count the length of each inhalation and exhalation.
Staying fully present with your breath by continuing to count the length of each inhalation and exhalation.
Staying fully present with your breath by continuing to count the length of each inhalation and exhalation.
Softly releasing the counting of your breath now.
Noticing your natural breath as one constant stream as it flows in and out of your body.
Being completely aware of every sensation within you.
Gently begin to deepen your breath from this place.
Feeling your breath gently coaxing you back to this moment.
Sensing your entire body and the boundless nature of your breath.
Feeling a greater sense of peace and inner awareness.
Gently begin to lift your gaze and mindfully taking in your surroundings.
Namaste.
