Transcript

You will now start with the practice My Breathing and Me.

Come and lay down on your backs if possible,

On your bed or on a mat,

And place a hand or your teddy bear on your belly,

Very softly.

Feel your belly rise as you inhale,

And fall as you exhale.

Can you feel that?

If you don't feel it,

That's fine too.

The way you feel it is alright.

Breathe in and out a few times.

Your belly is like a little balloon that deflates and makes the sound phuuu.

You don't have to change anything about your breath.

It is how it is right now.

You don't have to change it in a particular way.

Just feel how your hand or your teddy bear rises and falls again.

Feeling the movement of your hand is also feeling your belly and your breath.

You follow it with your gentle attention.

Just look at how your breath flows in and out on its own.

When you are ready,

Just end this short meditation in your own way.
