This meditation is a great tool if you have been feeling blocked, limited or stuck in your life or with your projects. Also, if you are somehow not very motivated because of several obstacles you may be facing right now. It includes a Body Scan, a guided meditation about overcoming obstacles and a mantra dedicated to Ganesha.

Hi guys,

This is Sandra.

Welcome to my meditation channel.

Today I have prepared for you a very special and powerful guided meditation and this meditation will be based and inspired by the figure of Ganesha,

Which is a goddess from Hinduism and this is the goddess against obstacles.

So it's a very powerful image that can help us to remove obstacles or blockages that we may have in our lives because of emotions or projects or situations or relationships.

So I hope you enjoy this guided meditation and that hopefully it helps you a little bit to ease your problems and to feel more confident.

As usual we are going to start by sitting in a safe space,

Maybe trying not to be disturbed too much during this session.

You may have cozy space with just maybe some candles or not a very bright light,

Just so that you can relax and keep your mind and body at ease during this meditation session.

As usual I would recommend that you sit down on the floor if possible with your legs crossed and just take that one and if not just cross your legs or have them straight in front of you.

The most important thing is that you are comfortable,

That you will be able to stay like that without moving too much during this session,

That your back is as straight as possible and that your body is relaxed.

We are just going to start by being aware of our breath so you can join me here and close your eyes and start noticing how the air flows in through your nose,

Through your lungs and belly and through your body.

Inhale once again here just feeling the air coming in through the nose and exhale through the nose again,

Removing the air from your belly and then exhaling through the nose again and exhaling through the nose again,

Removing the air from your belly and exhaling through the nose and exhale through the nose again,

Removing all the air from your body.

Inhale once again and feel this air through your nostrils,

Your throat and your body and exhale the air through your nose,

Feeling it now maybe a little bit warmer.

Inhale once again,

Expand your chest and exhale,

Let go of everything.

Very good.

Now we are just going to do a quick version of the body scan technique.

So we are just going to try to analyse every single part of our body and since this meditation is dedicated to maybe difficult times or just some obstacles we may be facing right now,

It is possible that because you are in this situation some tension or stress has built up in your body and there may be some tension or just discomfort.

So we are going to try to be conscious and aware of how the body is feeling and where these points of tension or stress may be.

So for that you just need to follow my instructions.

You can stay with your eyes closed and we are just going to start to analyse our toes.

So try to imagine and picture really every single part,

Muscle and bone from your toes and try to search there for emotions or tension or stress or maybe quite the opposite as you may feel that they are very relaxed and at ease.

We are going to keep moving upwards towards the feet,

Bridge and the sole of the feet and also towards the ankles.

Very good.

Keep moving forward and try to analyse every inch of your body looking for tension points or places where negative emotions may have built up.

Let's keep moving upwards towards the shins,

Calves and knee area.

Pay special attention to your knee area and try to see what is in there.

And we keep going towards the thighs,

Your big muscles,

Quadriceps and your legs.

Analyse those and we keep moving towards the hip area,

The hip joint.

This is a place where tension and emotions can build up and just block our energy from flowing freely throughout our body.

And also if you are working most of the time,

Sitting down on a chair especially,

It is possible that you feel some tension or stiffness in that area.

So just go ahead and check out how your hips are feeling today and draw a clear picture of those feelings or physical sensations.

We are going to keep moving upwards towards the belly area,

Your torso,

Also the belly,

The stomach is a place where our anxiety may be blocking and building up.

So just take a little bit of time to explore that area,

See if there is any stress or anxiety going on in there.

And we keep moving towards the chest,

The heart area,

See if there are any emotions or feelings in there.

And we are going to focus now on the shoulders,

The arms,

Your hands and fingers,

Trying to analyze how those are feeling as well today.

And moving up towards your neck,

Neck area is especially sensitive to any kind of tension,

So just have a look there.

And we keep going towards the jaws,

The face,

The eyebrows,

Maybe your forehead,

Your head and your hair.

Very good.

So now that we have done that,

We are just going to dive deeply into this guided meditation inspired and based on the Ganesha Goddess.

So I would like you to inhale deeply through your nose and take energy and exhale through your nose and release any tension you may have in your body or mind.

Inhale again,

Take energy from the earth and exhale through your nose and release the tension,

Let go of anything you may not need anymore.

Once again,

Inhale and draw some energy from around you and exhale and let go.

Feel now the lightness of your body,

Its energy and its power.

And let's focus on today's intention,

Which is the following sentence,

The following little mantra and it goes like that.

There are no obstacles on my path except for the ones in my mind.

If I control my mind,

I can remove the obstacles.

So let that sink deep in your mind and body.

Embrace this little mantra and you can repeat after me to yourself.

There are no obstacles on my path except for the ones in my mind.

If I control my mind,

I can then remove the obstacles.

So let Ganesha,

This goddess against obstacles,

Guide you through your path,

Through your life.

Let her inspire you and give you energy.

Keep breathing as natural and as deep as possible,

Just taking some time here for this concept to really sink inside of you.

There are no obstacles on my path.

Everything can be an opportunity.

No matter how tense or difficult or blocked you may be feeling right now,

I would like you to take this as a chance to know and to remind yourself that everything is temporary and therefore bad stuff must come to an end at some point.

So trust yourself,

Trust your body and be sure that you are going to overcome this.

You are going to remove those obstacles and turn them into opportunities and you are going to keep moving forward because no matter how difficult or bumpy the path may seem right now,

There is always a way forward.

And just to finish off,

I would like you to pay attention once again to your breath,

Feel how your body is being filled up by this fresh air full of energy and let go,

Exhale through the nose and just be sure that you will get there.

You can now slowly open your eyes and I really hope that this little guided meditation is going to help you to overcome anything that you may be facing right now,
