Hi there,

Welcome to our meditation to help us find some more patience.

So find yourself in a comfortable seat.

You can have the feet pressing into the ground if you're sitting on a chair or sitting legs crossed.

You can even lay down if that's more comfortable for you.

And let's start with some nice slow deep breaths.

So you're gonna take a nice full inhale through the nose and deep exhale through the mouth.

Inhale through the nose.

Exhale through the mouth.

Inhale through the nose.

Exhale through the mouth.

Let's breathe in and out through the nose maybe keeping that same timeline.

So inhale.

Exhale.

And inhale.

Exhale.

Notice how your breath feels.

Perhaps you're even experiencing a sense of needing to rush through the inhale and the exhale.

Sometimes when we breathe here you can feel like we need to get somewhere.

We need to get to a full inhale or get to a full exhale.

Invite you instead to feel the entire inhale from basically having no air to having a little air a little more to being all the way full.

And then same on the exhale that feeling of when the air first releases.

So you start to release more and more steady stream and till eventually you run out there's no more air to press out.

Appreciating each part of the breath knowing it's not the edges that are the most important the finished lines of a full inhale or a full exhale but rather the process of moving the breath.

Notice the feeling of abundance here when you drop the need to get to the finish line.

If we don't have to get anywhere we can be content right here.

We can feel a fullness a joy a presence right here right now.

Take a moment to reflect on a place in your life where there is a timeline where you're trying to reach a finish line a goal where it feels like you need to get somewhere.

Maybe you even feel a little tightening in the chest that happens when we have this expectation of ourselves and of others and of the world around us to conform to our timeline to the one that we've made up in our heads.

And taking a moment noticing how that feels now see what happens if you believe and feel and embody there being no deadline.

What if you had all the time in the world?

What if just like with our breaths you didn't need to get anywhere but rather could experience all the parts of your inhale and exhale?

Perhaps there's a little more freedom a little more spaciousness.

Maybe instead of feeling a lot of stress around the situation or around whatever this goal is you're trying to reach instead maybe you can even smile seeing where you are in the journey what you've already accomplished where you have to go.

And knowing you don't need to get anywhere knowing you have all the time in the world.

Perhaps as you move into your day and as you get confronted with these situations where you feel like you need to get somewhere do something reach a goal you can take a deep inhale and deep exhale reminding yourself that there's no finish line of the breath all the different parts of the breath have equal importance equal joy and just like a tree doesn't have to wish to grow it just does you can let the world unfold around you let the situation unfold around you with patience with joy.

Now as you're ready to exit this meditation take your hands take the palms and place them over the eyes just bring a little warmth to the eyes you can slowly blink the eyes open underneath the palms just getting a little more adjusted to being back in the space around you and then you'll remove the hands from the eyes seeing the world around you seeing how so many of the things around you in your space again don't have to be attached to a timeline don't wish for things to be different than they are they just are.

Thank you for listening to this meditation have a wonderful day namaste
