Now is a shortcut to eternity - beyond time, Here is the shortcut to infinity - beyond space. They are both pathways to our inherently free and unlimited Being. We are so often taken to the NOW that we are very rarely taken to the HERE. In this Thought Yoga exploration, Saja takes a quick pathway to introduce you to the Here.

Let's just start by saying yes to our environment.

Saying yes to our experience.

Go to the sounds that you hear.

Notice how you're knowing them into existence.

For something to seem to exist,

For something to seem to stand out from ourselves.

It must come from somewhere.

All things come from pure knowing.

Go towards the sound.

Bring attention to the sound and let that sound just turn into knowing.

Instead of focusing on the sound element,

Just focus on the knowing element.

What you'll notice is that we normally perceive a distance between the knowing of the sound and the sound itself.

Just for a moment,

Notice the inherent oneness between the experience of hearing and the knowing of hearing.

Whether there is a distance between ourselves and the sound is irrelevant.

We're just experimenting with how experience actually is,

How we actually experience it.

How we actually experience it is that there is no distance between the sound and the knowing of the sound.

Where does the knowing take place?

If the sound seems to take place over there,

Then how does a knowing that somehow exists inside ahead know something that is over there?

Ask yourself if this knowing has any objective qualities.

Is there anything that we can distinguish of the pure knowing element?

Does it have a shape?

Does it have a size?

Not the object we know,

But the knowing itself.

Does it have a colour?

Does it have any particular form?

Could it have a particular form?

Could it have any objective quality?

Could it be made of anything?

Could it be possible for knowing,

Just the raw experience of knowing,

To be made of something?

Let the sounds of your experience bring you into that knowing.

Not the knowing of anything in particular,

But just simply the knowing element of ourself,

Which is ourself.

Be that knowing.

Not at a distance from anything.

As close to the sounds of the birds as we are to the sensation of the body,

Or the sound of our thoughts.

Take your thoughts.

Repeat a thought in your mind,

The blue coloured wall.

Where are you in reference to the thought?

Is the thought outside of you?

Or is it inside?

How close are you to the thought?

Is it possible for there to be a distance?

Allow your thought to bring you into that knowing.

Not the knowing of anything in particular,

But the raw element of knowing.

Do you see a distance between the dog barking and the sound of your thoughts?

Is the knowing element further away from the sound of the voice or the sound of the dog barking than it is from the knowing of your thoughts?

Or is it the same place?

Notice that they both take place in the same place.

Where is that place?

Let your experience now bring you not just into the now,

But into the here.

The here isn't where the body is.

The body exists here.

You are at the same distance from the experience of the body than you are from the sound of your thoughts.

The dog being called,

The dog barking,

The sound of the cars,

The sound of my voice,

And the objects in your room.

All these objects of experience exist inside you and they take place now and here.

There is no distance between what you are and what you experience.

Let your experience remind you of the distance-less presence of here.

Let all sounds and experiences come to you in the presence of here.

Let experience be a distraction from where we truly are.

There is only one place.

That place is right here.

Let life surround you with its presence.

Let life live.

Let it take you here.

Thank you.
