Welcome to the Winter Goose.
My name is Renée from Sagittarius Way.
I am so grateful you are here and thankful for all the support that you give me.
Today we will connect with the energy of the snow ghost,
The zodiac energy.
If you like to enjoy your meditation,
Please have a look at my dashboard and there is also a snow ghost meditation for you.
This zodiac has its roots here in North America and it's connected with energies all over the world.
The zodiac starts on December 22nd and it goes all the way to January 19th.
Of course,
With the animal energy,
It's not really connected to our normal calendar.
But to keep us all organized,
Those are the dates that I will keep to.
The winter goose is connected to the Capricorn on the northern side and Cancer on the southern.
On the Chinese zodiac,
It's connected with ox.
The birth moon of the winter goose is the Earth Renewal Moon and the season is the month of the snow.
So the mineral that's connected to the snow goose is quartz and the plant is silver birch.
The wind is north and the element is earth.
And the color connected with the winter goose is of course white.
It has a special connection with turtle and it's very complementary with the woodpecker,
Another spirit animal.
Known as goose or winter goose,
This Native American zodiac sign is motivated and full of ambition.
Unlike some sign,
The goose is able to lay out a careful plan for reaching her goals and she's always relaxed and self-resured because she has a plan out her strategy for the future and she is ready to achieve it.
While creating a strategy and following through on her plan is a positive,
It can be a bit much for the poor goose at times.
She is so demanding of herself as she sets these high goals and then expects her to almost immediately reach them.
The goose can become disappointed easily because she sets out these high goals and then it takes maybe a little bit longer to achieve them than she was expecting.
Then she kind of forgets that it's also a journey to get somewhere and it seems that doubt is her kryptonite.
This can take the goose kind of for a spin but like most goose she will be able to turn around and get into the right direction to reach her goals.
The general message the goose brings is an invitation to a quest or travelling to places where significant lessons will be presented.
The snow goose specifically connected the winter solstice and the full moon.
Around this time you will feel the support the most.
If you feel specifically attracted to the snow goose,
This is the right moment for you to work together.
For then you will receive clear answers and directions to your questions or your quest.
Having a quick look at the history of the winter goose,
It was associated with Boreas.
This is the north wind in the Greek mythology.
Boreas,
Like I said,
The north wind personification,
He carried off with the beautiful Eurythe,
The daughter of Eithros and this is the king of Athens.
I hope I pronounced all those beautiful names correctly.
They lived together in trays as king and queen of the winds and had two sons,
Callas and Zit and two daughters,
Cleopatra and Zeon.
Mother goose has taken upon her a direction she is well known for globally.
She has found her place in the bedtime stories,
The stories that create peace and relaxation for the young ones and maybe for the older ones too,
To say goodbye to the day and welcome the night in a place of openness and safety.
The stories are being shared in a way that the wisdom can be incorporated in the night and our unconsciousness can make more sense of it.
If you feel inspired,
Pick up one of your favourite childhood book stories and pay close attention to how relevant the theme still may be.
Looking at the goose for this perspective,
You probably feel the safety that this beautiful animal has to share.
Anything is solvable in a creative and successful way.
Interestingly,
Part of these stories is opening up another strong support system the goose has to offer to us,
And in this case specifically for creative people with words.
We all feel drawn to put pen to paper.
For the longest time we would use the feather of the goose to write with.
Maybe creatives still ask the goose for support and to help them with the words or answers they have their questions to come to them.
The connection with the feather,
Our heart,
The universe,
Is a natural one to make,
Especially when you find the feather to write with.
Even to this day you can still invite the goose to come to you and help you to get into the space of surrender.
This way the words can flow and come to you in a natural way and in a vocabulary that is natural to you.
The goose may show up in your day in a different way,
And sometimes they can be very persistent.
In their presentation to you,
This animal has this soft but determined energy around diet.
As the goose is clearly very earthy,
They are also vegetarian.
This is not always as clear with animals.
When the goose keeps showing up for you,
There might be an indicator that you need to eat more veggies or have a need to have a closer look at your diet.
The goose is not an animal to bully or push,
But it loves to invite you to different choices and even give new ideas a chance.
You will see the goose also being connected to long-term relationships.
The goose mates for life,
And they are equally taking care of their young ones.
It's a powerful energy that the goose gives about picking wisely and knowing that you have someone beside you through all seasons.
It tells us the story of not looking back,
But moving forward in life together,
Supported and cared for.
There are eight different kinds of species of geese in North America.
This is a very special number of course,
And a powerful link to the infinity energy of this number.
This brings us back to moving forward and backward in a spiritual quest that the goose invites us to.
The goose migration pattern and the power that the goose leaves her home in autumn to go and discover new places and follow the light and warmth,
The quest to explore other places and cultures.
It invites us to experiment with different languages,
Dishes,
Or how to view the world around us.
They travel in a formation with a travelling group.
They set up in a way that everyone always has the sight of where they are going.
But there is also a place to rest within the journey,
As they play with the wind drafts and the positioning of the group.
The power is within the community.
The formation is normally a V that points into the direction they are flying.
It points to the possibility and the options.
But always with the support of the community.
This is the possible with the physical travel,
But also with the creativity of the mind.
In combination with the soul and the heart,
There are no limits where this might take you.
Enjoy.
If you feel drawn to the winter goose,
Please connect with her in the meditation that you can find at the dashboard of Sagittarius Way.
I am so grateful that we spend time together and I look forward to spending more time with you on a later time or date.
Namaste.
