Eucalyptus Tree,
Wisdom,
Breath,
Boundaries and Renewal,
Welcome.
Thank you for joining me today in our sacred gathering,
A time to slow down,
Listen and be held in the loving presence of nature.
Today we sit with a tree whose presence is both soothing and clarifying,
Gentle yet immensely powerful,
The Eucalyptus Tree.
Let us begin by imagining her in her natural home,
Tall and subtle,
With the silvery green leaves that shimmer in the light breeze.
Her bark peels in soft,
Curling ribbons,
Never clinging,
Always releasing.
She does not hold on to what is ready to fall away.
The Eucalyptus Tree,
A symbol of grace and adaptability,
Thrives in poor soils,
Rocky grounds and windswept hills,
Places others may not choose to root.
Yet she stretches upwards towards the sky with confidence and peace.
She knows how to make the most of her surroundings.
What she asks for is sunlight,
Space and a chance to breathe.
Her resilience is an inspiration to all of us.
And isn't that love in its purest form?
To be offered space to breathe,
Light to grow and the freedom to shed what no longer serves us.
Spiritually,
The Eucalyptus is known as the Tree of Release and Renewal.
She appears in our lives when we need clarity,
When our minds feel cluttered and when our emotions are congested,
When we are weighed down by what we cannot see but deeply feel.
Her energy clears the mental fog,
Helping us regain our breath,
Literally and spiritually.
She also is the Tree of Energetic Boundaries.
When we feel drained,
Overwhelmed by others or disconnected from our own energy field,
Eucalyptus reminds us to come back to ourselves.
Her spirit whispers,
Protect your sacred space,
Your breath,
Your energy,
Your path.
These are yours to tend.
In Chemin tradition,
She sometimes used to dispel negative energy,
Using during cleansing rituals.
Her presence sweeps the air clean,
Not by force,
But with calm assurance.
Her vibration is like the sound of wind chimes in the distance.
In her presence,
We feel cleansed and rejuvenated.
On a physical level,
Eucalyptus is one of the world's most recognized natural healers.
Her essential oils carry strong antibacterial,
Antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.
It opens the lungs,
Supports the respiratory system and soothes pain.
The sense of Eucalyptus can cut through the heaviest of colds,
Both literally and metaphorically.
In her healing presence,
We find comfort and hope.
Many healers and herbalists refer to it as the Breathing Tree.
And rightly so.
When we are stuck in grief,
When we are holding our breath in fear or anxiety,
She invites us to exhale fully and inhale life once more.
She reminds us,
Healing begins with the breath.
One breath at a time.
When Eucalyptus appears through sense,
Imagery,
Dreams or in the physical world,
She is often asking you to clear space,
Both within and around you.
It may be time to declutter your thoughts.
It may be time to go off a relationship dynamic that no longer is nurturing.
And perhaps your body is asking for deeper breaths,
More movement or stillness.
Eucalyptus doesn't come with urgency,
She arrives with clarity.
Asking us to create boundaries where there are none and to take a breath in.
She is an ally for the sensitive soul.
The deep feelers,
The caregivers.
Reminding you that you deserve your own breath.
Your own healing.
Your own light.
She sheds to survive.
Unlike many trees,
The Eucalyptus does not wait for the season to shed her bark.
She lets go constantly,
Layers by layers.
She can remain healthy and deter insects and diseases.
It's a powerful symbol of spiritual hygiene.
We must let go regularly,
Not just during a crisis.
And she creates her own climate.
Eucalyptus leaves or releases compounds that influence the surrounding environment.
Often discouraging undergrowth,
Allowing her to flourish in her space.
Spiritually,
This mirrors how we too can choose environments that support our soul's growth.
And shape our surroundings through presence,
Not control.
So today,
May the Eucalyptus offer you her breath.
May she inspire to shed what no longer is yours to carry.
And to create space for light to reach you.
And to trust the healing that comes with every exhale.
Thank you for being here.
My name is Sagittarius.
And I'm grateful that you're here.
