Hi,
This is Johnson Chong and this is a meditation to help you with any dark,
Heavy feelings like anxiety or depression.
When you're ready,
Come to a comfortable seat or you can opt to lay down on your back.
Bring your awareness to the water.
Listen to the sound of the ocean.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through the mouth.
In through the nose.
Out through the mouth.
Through the nose and through the mouth.
As you listen to the breath and listen to the sound of my voice.
You also listen deep within to the voice that takes you closer to the shore.
And at the same time there is the voice that is pulling you further from the shore.
Listen to the voice that is pulling you closer to the shore.
And follow that vibration back to land,
Back to earth.
And feel into the earth below you.
Feel it.
Feel the texture,
The density of the earth,
The grounding vibrations of the rocks and the stones beneath that hold you.
And at the same time allow the water to soothe you,
To wash anything that does not serve your soul's highest alignment in this moment.
Whatever you have forgotten about yourself,
It is not lost,
It is merely forgotten.
And so now take this time,
This sacred pause to reconnect to that which is forgotten.
Deep breathing in through the nose,
Out through the mouth,
Through the nose and through the mouth.
Tapping into your heart's core,
Into that flutter of sensation,
The rush of confusion that eats at the heart,
At the belly,
Like knots being tied up in a maze-like pattern.
Watch those sensations.
We don't run,
We watch.
We watch as if watching the waves coming in and out of the shoreline.
Watch and feel that pulse of uncertainty,
That pulse that is a kind of terror,
And embrace it.
Because that,
That pulse is a part of you.
It is a part of this moment.
And it has every right to exist.
To honor it,
Embrace it,
Breathe it in.
And so now,
Deep breathing in through the nose,
Out through the mouth,
Through the mouth,
Through the mouth,
Through the mouth.
And even during the most tense and unforgiving of situations,
Even while traveling on the most tired of roads,
Toppled by this devastating desperation and the foreshadowing of dark days ahead.
There is beauty to be found.
There is beauty to be cherished.
There is beauty to be cradled.
So drink that beauty in with your breath.
That's it.
Find the beauty.
It is found with a tender focus.
The kind of focus we offer a newborn infant.
And with this new found beauty that has been restored into your breath,
The birthright of your being is to center into the knowing that you are truly held by life itself,
By the same energy that created the universe.
And so you emerge from the silent sack of despair.
You are reminded through the waves of breath that the shore is always in sight.
Thank you so much for your time,
Your energy,
And your presence.
This is Johnson Chung.
I'm wishing you a day full of beauty and awe,
And I look forward to sharing more meditations with you.
