Hello,
Insight Timer community.
This neuroacrobatics breath and brain game is about allowing your cells to fill with your breath.
Begin by sealing your lips and breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.
And focusing all of your awareness at the tip of your nose.
Allowing the nose to fill with that certain silly sense of something.
And noticing as your body slowly fills with breath,
The gentle expansion front to back and side to side.
And since every cell is a lung and every cell learns,
By breathing in this way we teach ourselves to expand and fill making a little space for love.
Letting go of anything unlike love with each exhale.
Noticing the long slow slide of the nasal exhale.
And picking the breath up again and simply letting it go.
And now beginning to exhale from your mouth in what's called a sigh of relief.
It's an inhale twice as long as a normal inhale followed by an exhale that you simply drop like a box of rocks.
Ready?
And begin to notice the pause at the top and the bottom of your breath.
And maybe closing those pauses up just a little.
Observing where the inhale turns to the exhale and the exhale turns to the inhale in the nose and drop it out the mouth like a box of rocks.
Letting that exhale be the most elegant thing about you.
You push it or ride it down or you'll miss a delicious neurological trigger at the top of the inhale.
It says that it's safe.
And when it's safe,
We can relax.
In the nose,
Out the mouth.
Filling now yourselves with a felt sense of love.
Looking into the eyes of a favorite pet or a beloved or a close friend.
And in your mind's eye,
An imagination connecting with that love.
Shared between yourself and an other.
Breathing it in now in the nose.
And out your mouth.
Dropping down a little more with each exhale.
And picking up a little more with each inhale.
And any place in your body that doesn't feel like love can receive a care package in your breath from you.
Simply by breathing intentionally into that space.
And in a few breaths now,
We will transition back to nose in,
Nose out.
Enjoying these final few mouth exhales.
Sighs of relief.
Three.
Two.
One.
And sealing your lips now.
Breathing in the nose,
Out the nose.
Noticing as the love flows between yourselves.
Filling every one of them with love.
And observing the taste,
Texture,
Sight,
Sound,
Smell and sensation of your breath in every cell of your body.
Filling your body with love.
Marinating in love.
Radiating love in your breath from the inside out.
And when you're ready,
Very slowly,
Very gently,
Fluttering your eyelids open delicately like butterfly wings,
Bringing your attention back into this space and place and time.
Fully awake,
Fully aware,
And fully relaxed.
Enjoy the rest of your day or night.
This is your breath.
