Hey loves,
Thank you for making time to reconnect here and most importantly thank yourself.
Go ahead and take a comfortable position if you haven't already.
In this meditation I will give you space to soak in and really reflect on the words or you can choose to focus on your breath,
Whatever works for you today.
Today's meditation is on self-image.
Society really puts a load on us,
Convincing us that our self-worth comes from our exterior.
We don't have to obey,
We aren't our thoughts and these thoughts don't define us.
We have to learn to talk back to them just like we would talk back to a person or an idea we don't believe in.
We need to talk back to our negative thoughts about ourselves with love and compassion.
If only society emphasized the beauty within and how it radiance and shines through us,
We would live in a completely different world.
Self-love takes a lot of time and patience,
Never overnight,
But the time it takes for a peaceful soul is worth it all.
And back to your breath.
Inhaling all the love for your body and soul and exhaling any thoughts or beliefs holding you back.
Go ahead and do this for another three times,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Really paying attention to the breath and how it feels so good to be alive.
Then,
Just let your breath come to a natural rhythm.
We always get a sense of the If your mind wanders,
Just come back to your breath.
If your mind wanders,
Just come back to your breath.
Dr.
Masaru Emoto gives us physical proof that our thoughts,
Intentions,
And words affect the physical world.
In one of his experiments,
He places rice into three glass bowls and then fills them with water and rice.
The first bowl,
He shares words of appreciation and negative words to the second and ignores the third.
A month later,
The rice of pleasant words has a pleasant smell.
The rice that has negative words turned black and the rice that was ignored began to rot.
Water is a direct reflection of human words and thoughts.
Words are the vibrations of nature.
Therefore beautiful words create beautiful nature.
Negative words create unlovely nature.
This is the root of the universe.
This is important for our body image because up to 60% of the human adult body is made of water.
Now come back to your breath and go ahead and inhale peace and loving kindness to yourself.
And exhale any thoughts or worries you have been holding on this far.
Go ahead and do this for another three times,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Really enjoying every breath,
How it feels so good to be healthy and well in your body today.
Then just let your breath come to a natural rhythm.
Wow.
If your mind wanders,
Just gently bring yourself back to your breath.
If your mind wanders,
Just gently bring yourself back to your breath.
Realize that what we see in the mirror are thoughts and ideas in our heads.
They aren't the reality.
If we feel good inside,
We become the beautiful thoughts and we can actually see our true beauty in the mirror.
Now,
Make an intention,
If not for this day,
Just for this moment,
That you will show your body compassion and love.
Always remembering with time and patience,
The beauty within will shine outerly.
And any negative triggers of our body image,
Use them as reminders to go the other way.
You are doing the work,
You are getting stronger every day.
Be proud of yourself.
Now,
Think about something you love about your body or a part of your body that you resist and practice showing it love and compassion.
Now,
Come back to your breath.
And inhale love for your body part you have in mind.
And exhale any negative thoughts associated with this body part.
And go ahead and do this for another three times,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Reminding yourself of the intention of showing your body compassion and love today.
And inhale love for your body part you have in mind.
And inhale love for your body part you have in mind.
And just let your breath come to a natural rhythm.
And just let your breath come to a natural rhythm.
If your mind wanders just come back to your breath.
Now take this beautiful energy throughout your day.
And I'll leave you with a quote from Dr.
Masaru Emoto,
If you have a peaceful mind and peaceful thoughts water becomes more peaceful.
Thank you for making time to reconnect here.
And most importantly,
Think yourself.
Namaste.
