Hello and welcome to this moment.
Allow yourself some time just to get comfortable wherever you are and to do anything that you need to do if you need to pause and turn off the oven or you forgot to call somebody or you need to write down something that you want to remember tomorrow.
Anything that you need to do just allow yourself to do that so that then you can arrive more fully into this moment.
If there's something on your mind just give it attention for a few seconds and let it know that you understand it needs something and that for now you're gonna do something else and that you will come back to it.
And then allow yourself to really understand how you are in this moment.
How you are physically,
If there's any places in your body that feel any way that is surprising to you or if everything is as you expected it to be.
If there's anything mentally surprising or as you expected.
And if there's anything emotionally going on what are your emotions like in this moment?
Usually there's some emotions at the surface or maybe the surface is very neutral and then there are different emotions or deeper emotions a little underneath that that maybe extend for a longer time frame but they're also present now.
So we're just looking at things we're not changing anything yet.
And then in your next few breaths just begin to watch your breath again not changing anything and allow yourself to remember that this breath gives you a connection to the plants of the planet.
That you take in from the air only the parts that you need you don't take everything mostly oxygen and then you use it for your own life and growth and as part of that process it gets transformed into something different mostly carbon dioxide which then you release automatically almost with your breath out and the plants take this in and use it also for their own life and growth and in a similar way very gracefully they then let it go as oxygen which we take in.
So this relationship exists this beautiful support system to provide each type of being with the things that they need through the process of the other one letting go of what they're finished with.
So you just watch your breath all the parts of it it's depth maybe it has a sound where it moves your body maybe it has a color or a temperature you can notice how it feels coming in notice how it feels going out and you can begin to use the part of the process of your breath where you let things go which is the exhale to begin to let go of any tension that you're finished with.
If you're not finished with something it's fine to keep it but on your next exhale you can breathe out a little bit longer maybe there is some tension in the forehead you maybe weren't even aware about that you can just breathe out and let it go and then on the next breath maybe some more tension somewhere in the face or the neck or throat or jaw maybe there is some in the shoulders when you breathe out they can just relax a little more deeply and you can search the body for any other areas of tension the lower back the stomach the hands whatever comes to you so every breath out you just let it go a little more deeply you can even see something you know head outside through the breath to the trees with the plants near you as a gift to them and then also any tension of the mind or any emotional tension anything that you're finished with you can breathe out and watch it go and then begin a rhythm that the breath out goes from head to toe when you breathe in you fill up and when you breathe out you let go from head to toe there is an energy movement that goes down the body and out the feet and breathing out a little more deeply so a longer exhale you just wash away all the things you're done with from your physical body emotional body spiritual body energetic body and whenever you feel ready then you can imagine a light above your head so finish as many exhales as you'd like and then focus on this light above your head it can be any color it may change colors whatever it is it's just right for you and if there is no color then white is fine or golden and just allow yourself to know that this light is connected to an infinite source it contains peace and any other things that you need in your life maybe there is hope or courage joy any other thing as you realize what it is that you need you can see the light is growing brighter and denser and just invite a little strand of this light to come down and meet you at the top of your head so you can see it moving slowly closer and closer until it enters your being through your scalp and skull and moves down into the space between the ears filling everything with light all the space that was created by the things that you let go of this space can now be filled with peace and all the other things that are there in the light so the light moves further down into the jaw the space between the eyes the tongue is resting and further down into the neck into the muscles at the base of the neck and the back and as the light moves into muscles it may feel like warm oil is poured over them as they melt away full of peace so the light moves down the arms all the way down flooding into the fingertips leaking out the edges and then spilling over into the torso under the armpits so filling up the body the chest and back sides of the body the light moves further down into the hips through the legs knees calves ankles feet and toes everything at peace can allow the light to go further inside inside every organ your beautiful heart full of light your lungs liver kidneys spleen the stomach the reproductive system every single cell ligament muscle fiber even the bones full of light the bones can relax be at peace can allow the light to go even deeper inside into the emotional body as well the chakras can see them open and flowing full of light and everything fills up to the point that your entire energy space is full of light like an egg shape around your body out 1 to 3 inches so in this cocoon of perfect peace just enjoy how that feels for a moment just be there at peace and when you're ready you can start again to look at your breathing nothing to change just notice if the depth or the temperature or the sound or any parts are different than they were before or if they are the same you may even begin to notice if you make any meanings about what you see and then when you're ready just focus on your inhale for a few breaths 3 to 5 breaths breathing in a little more deeply to fill up bringing your awareness back into your body whatever you're touching wherever you are noticing if any of the places in your body feel the same or different if there's any places now of discomfort or more comfort you can wiggle anything that wants to wiggle your toes or fingers stretch if it feels good or stay still if that feels good be very aware of what wants to move or what doesn't want to move and honor those things and there's no hurry but when you're ready you can bring your awareness all the way back to the present moment remembering the time of day your location what's going on around you and when you're ready you can bring your awareness fully back to here and now prepare to enjoy fully whatever you are doing next.
