As a sound healing practitioner,

I have come to understand the value our voices and sound hold for personal and collective healing.

It is in many ways like having an internal massage.

Imagine that through this guided experience that we are like purring cats,

Self soothing the places in us that need some deep vibration,

Relentless support and love.

Using sound in our voices are great ways to ground and center ourselves,

At least a little bit back into our bodies.

You will hear throughout this experience that I will ask you to make specific sounds and to find affirmations to align with that sound.

May we take this moment now to infuse allowance and permission in this practice.

It is okay if nothing comes to you.

It is okay if nothing comes to me.

Do what feels right.

So let us take a moment now to find a position that feels perhaps more comfortable in this moment.

For you it might be sitting in a chair,

Crossing your legs.

Or maybe you are standing or laying on the floor.

I welcome you now to close your eyes.

And if you can't close your eyes to lower your gaze.

Turning down that volume of the external,

Of the sights,

Sounds,

Sensations in your external awareness.

Turning your attention inward and remembering that you have the authority to turn this volume of awareness up or down at any time.

And as you draw your attention towards your inner being,

Take this moment now to gently shake anything that feels stuck.

To shake any places where you feel energy needs to move.

Noticing what may be moving through you at this moment.

Anything that may come up is a normal response.

During these times of uncertainty it is absolutely appropriate to feel tight,

Dysregulated,

Ungrounded,

Anxious,

Afraid.

It is also okay to feel into that invitation to slow down.

To care deeply for yourself.

If you feel called you may want to name out loud these feelings or stories showing up in your awareness.

And just as quickly as they arise,

Watch them float away.

And when you are ready I welcome you.

Take some shared breaths with me.

Breathing into the spaces now that maybe feel tight or janky.

Breathing into the spaces that feel open,

Receptive,

And juicy.

Using these places in our bodies to connect with every cell of our being.

Allowing the inhale to receive.

And the exhale to release.

It does not matter how deep or how shallow your breath may be.

It only matters to breathe.

And on your next breath bringing your attention now to where your seat meets your chair.

Where your base or your feet meet the floor.

Noticing how the floor and your seat are holding you without effort.

These relentless supports being held by the foundation of the building or of the earth beneath you.

That foundation being held by the soil,

The bedrock,

The bones of the ancestors of this land,

By the deep vibration of the earth.

I invite you now to turn your awareness to your own place of support.

Your root,

Your base.

The foundation within your body.

And the sound I invite you to create here is ah.

This could be a place where stories of don't trust may live.

I invite you as we create the sound to call upon an affirmation to counter this story.

For me,

This affirmation is I am supported.

On our next breath,

Let's focus on the area of our root and tone the sound together three times with a deep breath in.

Ah.

Ah.

Ah.

Ah.

As we anchor and allow this tone to resonate in our foundational spaces,

We turn our attention now to our center.

The belly,

The solar plexus,

The largest chamber for sound.

Take a moment to notice how this space feels right now.

Letting thoughts and judgments arise.

Thanking our inner dialogue and inner critic for its determination in keeping us safe and reminding ourselves that in this moment,

These thoughts can take a break.

The sound I invite you to create here is oh.

This could be a place of where stories of I am not allowed to feel may live.

I invite you as we create this sound to call upon an affirmation to counter this story.

For me,

This is all of me is welcome here.

On our next breath together,

Let's focus on the area of our center and tone the sound three times with a deep breath in.

Oh.

Oh.

Oh.

Oh.

We may notice that when we make these sounds,

Cracks and cobwebs may arise.

Let us do our best to welcome these experiences as they move and release from our body through our sound.

Taking a moment here again to breathe either deep or shallow,

Whatever feels most comfortable for you right now.

Letting the sound of oh resonate in the chambers of our belly and of our center.

And on our next breath,

We turn our attention to our throats,

Our magic makers,

Where we can turn air into sound,

Where we can sing ourselves into being with song.

A place that works so hard for us as we make these sounds,

Our vocal cords opening and closing 85 to 300 times per second.

The sound I invite you to create here is I.

This could be a place where stories of don't talk may live.

I invite you as we create the sound to call upon an affirmation to counter this story.

For me,

This is my voice matters.

To send sound to our throats,

We may need to turn up the frequency of our tone.

Use whatever pitch feels right to resonate this sound in your throat.

On our next breath,

Let's tone the sound together three times.

I.

I.

I.

I.

I.

I.

I.

I.

I.

I.

I.

Taking another moment here to notice how energy may have moved or stopped in this space.

Again,

Acknowledging and honoring those cobwebs and cracks.

As they move through our energy and our sound,

We turn our awareness now to our whole being.

Allowing the resonance and energy of these sounds to flow and move towards all the spaces in our body,

Whether tight or open.

We seal these sounds with the universal Aum.

This sound may have spiritual relevance for you.

Please allow your truth or meaning of this sound to come through.

We use this sound to seal our experience as it uses every aspect of all of the sounds that came before.

It has the capacity to touch every part of our being and may connect us to the greater whole.

An affirmation we may feel into with the sound is I am connected.

We are connected.

So on our next breath,

Let's sing Aum together,

Followed by a moment of sacred silence for the spaces in between.

Aum.

Like the birds and the bees singing songs to damage trees,

We sing ourselves into being.

Like the birds and the bees singing songs to the trees,

We sing each other into being.

Like the birds and the bees singing songs to the trees.

We sing our world into being.

In this opportunity to tone together,

We give great thanks.

Placing our hands on our hearts,

We give thanks to ourselves for offering relentless support.

We give thanks to all that is foundational to us for offering relentless support.

We give thanks to take this moment to sing ourselves and each other into being.

Taking a moment now to welcome yourself back into this space,

Into the space that you are in.

Turning the dial up on your external awareness.

And when you're ready,

Opening your eyes or heightening your gaze,

Tapping your body,

Saying your name three times.

Blessing be.
