Bring your attention to your breath without any need to fix or to change anything.
Just simply notice.
Easy inhale and soft slow exhale.
And before we dive in,
I want you to visualize that in front of you is a box.
And anything that you might be carrying today,
Anything that is distracting you from the present moment,
I want to invite you to take whatever it is that you're carrying today and collecting it all piece by piece and placing it all inside that box.
And once you have finished,
You're going to close up that box.
Just put a lid on the top and you're going to take that box and just gently set it over to the side.
And don't worry,
We're not going to throw the box away.
We're not going to get rid of the box.
We are just simply putting it aside for the moment.
And once you have completed this,
Again,
Bringing your attention back to the breath.
And let's take a nice,
Big,
Deep belly breath in.
And when you release,
Thinking the words,
Let go.
Let's do that one more time.
Breathing in deep.
And thinking the words,
Letting it go.
Letting go.
And now we're going to bring your attention down to your lower belly.
So the space just below your belly button.
And just noticing what is there today.
Again,
Without any need to fix anything.
We're not here to change anything.
We're not going to judge anything that might be down there today.
We're just holding space.
And continue to breathe.
And as you breathe,
Try and bring your breath down into the space.
So deep,
Deep into your belly.
And as you continue to breathe,
In your mind,
Inside,
I want you to think the words,
I am here.
I am here.
And just notice what you're feeling.
And breathe.
And now let's bring our attention down a little bit deeper.
And we're going to bring our attention down to the base of the spine.
And visualizing big,
Strong roots growing from the base of your spine.
And each gentle breath that you take,
Seeing those roots growing bigger and stronger.
Until it reaches down,
All the way down,
And connects with the core of Mother Earth.
And as your roots connect with the core of Gaia,
I want you to say the following words in your mind.
I am connected to all things.
And breathe.
I am connected to all things.
And just notice the strength of the Earth supporting your body.
I am supported by my Mother Earth.
I am here.
And I am connected to all things.
And just notice how your body is feeling today.
I am here.
And I am connected to all things.
And now,
Shifting gears slightly,
I want you to imagine that you,
The spirit of you,
Is gently taking a step back.
So taking a step back from your mind,
From your body,
And observing everything that is going on right now.
And it's almost as if your spirit is standing behind a curtain.
And on the other side of that curtain is all of your thoughts,
Feelings,
Beliefs,
Your patterns,
Personalities,
All that stuff.
All the things that make you who you are.
And just taking a step back and noticing what it feels like to just observe what is on the other side of that curtain.
Without any judgment.
We're not making meaning of any of it right now.
We're just simply observing what is there.
And don't forget to breathe.
And this observer that you are,
That you are embodying in this moment,
This is your divine I am.
It's the spirit of awareness that lives in you and in all things.
And we can connect with that divine I am when we're able to meet ourselves in the present moment now.
And from this place of awareness,
And being in the observer,
In the divine I am,
Repeating the words,
I am here.
I am here.
And I am connected to all things.
I am here.
And I am connected to all things.
And just breathe.
Breathe.
And this observer,
This is the God self of you.
It is the spirit that lies beyond the thought,
Behind the feelings.
And it's when we get familiar with this divine I am,
Over time,
You will notice that this essence,
This truth of who you are,
This is where all of your psychic gifts come from.
And so the more we connect to this divine I am,
The easier it becomes for us to access our true power.
And the more we begin to realize that you are not your thoughts,
You're not your programming,
You're not your fear,
You are not your self-doubt.
You are simply loving awareness,
Which is here,
In the moment,
Now.
And is connected to all things.
And just breathe.
And now,
Whenever you're ready,
Start to bring your awareness back to the rest of your body again.
Once more,
Noticing the gentle inhale and the exhale.
And slowly take your time.
Whenever you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
And I would recommend that you take a moment to jot down a couple of notes of what that experience was like for you,
So that over time,
As you revisit this practice,
You will be able to notice all of the different changes that take place.
