In this meditation we're going to focus on the impermanent nature of life and how things come and go and that we can find peace and change.

So life is constantly in flow.

Things are arising and dissipating.

And nothing's going to stay with you forever because everything in life is temporary and in fact life itself is temporary.

So let's bring our attention to how everything passes and moves and changes and transforms and transmutates.

And there's a constant movement and flow to life on earth.

Go ahead and close your eyes and ensure that you're in a comfortable seated position or are laying down.

And we want to release any tension that's in our bodies.

Let's breathe a little bit together and take a few deep breaths.

Breathe in.

As you hear my voice,

If your mind starts to get distracted and goes elsewhere,

Just know that it's okay and you can bring yourself back to my voice.

And part of realizing that there's a flow to life and there's a constant letting go that's required to attain inner peace is in fact just by noticing the mind,

Noticing how thoughts themselves are impermanent.

They arise and dissipate.

And if we notice our emotions,

We'll also notice that emotions come and go as well.

And this is very much true in the physical world,

Where events come and go,

Changes come and go,

People.

And just notice that there's constant flow and change.

This means that if you have thoughts in your mind that don't serve you or emotional states that don't serve you,

It's okay.

It's gonna go eventually.

And all we have to do is be willing to let it go and not hold on to thoughts and emotions that don't serve us.

Just be willing to release constantly and be in a state of just letting go and letting go.

This is the most important thing of cultivating inner peace and inner calm.

To always be in a place of letting go and not being attached to anything and realizing that everything is temporary in life.

Even life itself is temporary.

And when we realize that life itself is temporary,

We can more easily shift away thoughts and emotions that bother us to counting our blessings.

So now notice a thought in your mind that doesn't serve you.

You notice that when you are focused on that thought,

Then that thought becomes dominant in your mind.

But if you now move your focus to something else in your mind,

Then that pestering thought loses its value.

It loses its power and its importance.

You can focus on an activity that you enjoy in your life that brings you happiness,

Listening to music,

Having your morning coffee.

And we can also practice this with our emotions as well.

Is there an emotion within you that you don't like that's lingering?

And you'll notice by focusing more on this emotion,

It gains power over you slowly.

And if we focus on a different emotion,

Then our attention shifts to that other emotion.

What is always beneficial is to simply thank our thoughts and emotions,

To say thank you for guiding me.

But I don't need your help.

I know what I have to do in my life to move forward,

Progress,

Be happy,

Be joyful,

Be calm.

Let's take a few deep breaths before we conclude our meditation.

Deep breath in.

As you go through your day,

Be gentle with yourself.

Celebrate your small victories.

Be kind to yourself.

Be loving to yourself.

Be patient with yourself.

And go through your day step by step,

Being in a place of just letting go and being at ease.

Thank you and take care.
