Hey there.

In this meditation,

We're going to focus on your inner peace.

And we will do this by observing emotional volatility and becoming unattached from it.

So that way we can enjoy a life of peace and serenity.

By the end of this meditation,

You should experience calm,

Less stress,

And a general enjoyment of life.

Let's go ahead and begin.

Go ahead and lay down or get seated comfortably.

And once you're comfortable,

Go ahead and close your eyes.

And set the intention to explore the deep inner peace that is already within you.

And you can go ahead and close your eyes.

Let's get rooted into this moment by breathing in peace and serenity and releasing any stress or anxiety that we feel emotionally,

Mentally,

Or physically.

Breathe in peace and serenity.

Deep breath in and breathe out.

Deep breath in and breathe out.

Deep breath in and breathe out.

Deep breath in and breathe out.

It's like free to imagine that you're standing in front of a stream in a heavily wooded area,

Let's say a forest.

And there are trees everywhere.

It's beautiful.

It's within nature.

And you're perfectly safe there.

There are no wild animals,

Nothing.

And you're just standing in front of the stream.

And this whole scene is very serene,

Very peaceful.

And you observing that within you,

There are emotions that are coming and going.

Some emotions cause a bit of stress,

Others cause some tension.

Some others cause worry.

Or maybe you're struggling with anxiety,

Heightened stress.

Notice these emotions within you.

And at the same time,

Notice yourself fully immersed in this forest standing in front of the stream.

And while you notice your emotions,

I'd like for you to look around.

Look around this beautiful forest.

What do you see?

Do you see some really big trees?

Do you smell flowers and plants in the air?

The smell of wood?

What colors are you seeing?

Do you feel the warmth of the sun on you?

Do you hear the stream of the water passing by you?

It's such a peaceful place.

What do you see?

What do you hear?

What do you smell?

What are all the colors?

Look up and look down.

Look all around.

The sound and the movement of the gentle stream is so peaceful.

It's a gentle flow.

Bring your attention back to your emotions.

Are there some worries that you'd like to let go of today?

Are there some things that are disrupting your inner peace that you'd like to surrender?

What are those emotions?

I'd like for you to explore those emotions.

And notice the motion of volatility as well.

Sometimes we feel good,

Sometimes we don't feel good inside.

Sometimes we feel happy.

Sometimes there's a stressful thought and we feel stressed out and suffocated and overwhelmed.

Sometimes we feel we're not safe,

Or we're under pressure,

Or we're angry,

Or just feeling down.

Just observe your emotions.

Deep down inside,

There's tremendous inner peace,

Which we're about to explore.

Just notice these emotions coming and going.

Look down next to you and you'll notice a small wooden raft,

Something that can easily float in the stream that's passing by.

Notice this wooden raft.

Notice how it's made,

Its color,

How it's put together.

Touch the raft.

Notice how it feels.

Does it creak or make any sounds?

Notice its sturdiness.

Just notice the raft.

We're not going to get into the raft.

But what we're going to do is package up all of these emotions that don't serve us and just put them on the raft.

So for just the next few minutes,

We're going to let go of everything that we're feeling that is negative or doesn't service us.

And we're going to put it on the raft.

And if it makes you feel good,

You can gesture with your hands as though you are taking things out of your chest,

Like emotions that don't serve you and placing them on the raft.

So keep pulling out these emotions and placing them on the raft.

Anything that comes up for you that doesn't make you feel good inside can be let go and surrendered and placed on this raft.

And if you have a lot to let go,

Don't worry.

The raft is sturdy enough to hold it all.

Keep taking your emotions out of your chest and your heart and placing it on the raft.

What's coming up for you that no longer services you,

That no longer serves you?

You feel panic,

Anxiety,

Stress,

Sense of overwhelm,

Sense that your teacup is always full,

As though you're drowning.

There's too much happening.

Life is too busy,

Too fast paced.

Too many people expect a high degree of things from you.

There's so many expectations.

There's so much to do.

There's never enough rest.

Just keep taking all these emotions,

Putting it on the raft until you start to feel clear.

And I'd like for you to breathe in a sense of letting go.

And as you breathe out,

Experience a sense of peace and serenity as you're placing your emotions on the raft.

So breathe in a willingness to let go and breathe out the placement of these emotions on the raft and feeling a release,

Feeling serenity.

Breathe in and breathe out.

And breathe in and breathe out.

You're feeling lighter and lighter already.

Most of your stress and negative emotions are already gone.

Let's get all the little bits out of you.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in and breathe out.

I'd like for you to start to focus on the peace and serenity that you're feeling inside.

Keep moving your negative emotions onto the raft,

But your attention is no longer on that.

It's on the peace and serenity you're feeling inside.

The sense of lightness that is emerging,

The calm,

The serenity.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Breathe in.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Feel the lightness within you.

Your whole sense of being is becoming clear.

There's no more clutter.

There's no muckiness inside,

No darkness.

Everything is put onto the raft.

Everything.

Breathe in and breathe out.

If you feel any resistance at all,

Then just put the resistance on the raft.

We are just letting go of things for a few minutes so we can feel a sense of calm and surrender and serenity and joy and happiness.

Breathe in and breathe out.

And breathe out.

Make sure that you have nothing left to place on the raft,

Nothing else.

Breathe in and breathe out.

I'd like for you to now bring yourself to a place where you're really ready to let go and push the raft gently into the water and let the raft start to drift away with all the things that no longer serve you.

So if you're ready,

Go ahead and gently push the raft into the water and notice how you're feeling inside.

Letting go,

Surrendering,

Giving into peace,

Embracing calm and surrender.

Let the raft drift away down the stream.

You can even wave bye to it if you like.

The raft,

Bye everything that no longer serves me.

I feel peaceful and serenity inside.

I let go of everything that no longer serves me.

There's a sense of freedom,

Of lightheartedness,

Of lightness overall.

Sense of relaxation.

The raft is so far away.

It's floating away and away.

We almost can't see it anymore.

Turn around,

Look around at the jungle,

At the forest.

Look at all these beautiful trees and the beautiful scenery.

Observe your sense of freedom and liberation,

Of deep inner peace.

Maybe you feel that this is a new start,

A new way to exist,

A new state of being,

A new way to live.

It's so quiet.

It's so peaceful.

It's so calm.

Notice how you feel inside.

The sense of peace is you right now.

And you can take this feeling,

The state of being with you for the rest of the day,

For the rest of the week,

For the rest of your life.

And if you act as though you are a peaceful person,

Which you are,

Then your life will be peaceful.

And you'll enjoy calmness and serenity that comes with a peaceful life.

You can keep meditating if you like.

Or you can start to bring yourself back into your environment as we're about to close our meditation today.

You can go ahead and wiggle your fingers and toes,

Your shoulders and your hips.

And go ahead and open your eyes.

And look around the room.

And look at your body.

And notice how you feel inside.

Notice the peace and the serenity,

The calm.

Take a few deep breaths.

Breathe in.

And breathe out.

And breathe out.

When you breathe in deepen your experience of this state of peace.

Breathe in.

And breathe out.

Breathe in.

I hope you've enjoyed this meditation.

I've enjoyed my time with you.

And I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

Take care.
