We travel from the base of the spine up through the center of our body,
Connecting all the different places that we felt before.
The sound begins at the center of the pelvic floor as A.
As we flow upwards around the center of the chest,
The sound shifts into O.
And as the sound reaches the middle point between the eyebrows,
It transforms into M,
Projecting that sound upwards.
No strain,
No struggle,
No forcing.
Enjoying this journey of sound.
Long exhalation.
Inhale,
Prepare.
Then begin.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Now make the sound progressively softer until it becomes inaudible.
Then you chant silently every time,
Softer and softer,
Even when you're chanting internally.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Stay with silent Aum chant.
Every time it gets softer and softer,
More and more subtle.
If you get distracted without struggle or self-judgment,
Return to internal Aum chant.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Aum.
Notice what it feels to just be with what is.
At this point,
Refresh your smile and be open to the possibility that you stay connected to your inner smile throughout your day.
Notice that in meditation,
Rather than trying to bring something in from the outside,
We are allowing ourselves to release whatever is not needed.
So that we can experience directly our natural inner stillness and inner silence,
Where all actions,
All thoughts,
All ideas,
All movements are happening.
Take a moment to thank yourself for dedicating your undivided attention to yourself.
Your ability to connect to your true nature grows with patience and persistence.
Try to practice whatever you can for as long as you can,
As often as it is feasible for you.
Namaste.
