Hi Cassie,
So beautiful again your message.
Thank you for sharing.
I will read your message so that others can also enjoy your words.
You are writing dearest Ruben and team love and light.
Thank you so much for session seven,
The tipping point.
I really loved this session as it seems to be the tipping point for the course.
I enjoyed and valued many of your turns of phrase,
Mind clutter,
Spooing and being able to quickly clean this up.
I take the term tipping point to refer to both the moment in life when a decision was made to commit to a regular practice of mindful awareness as well as the moment in a day when the space of thought opens into a non-personal awareness.
For me this happened about seven years ago after I decided to end an intimate partnership and also to turn inwards to better cope with the enormous change.
I began listening to Buddhist teachings and meditating daily.
Even after seven years I feel like I am at day one.
I recognize this.
And you continue frequently facing the unlearning of habits of unhelpful dualistic beliefs and thoughts that are the root of judgment of myself and others and could lead to divisive behaviors.
I notice such thoughts frequently and try to gently and non-critically hand these off to neutrality.
More frequently over the years I have been dropping into the subtle state of awareness and freedom from thought.
It's such a beautiful space of simply noticing myself and phenomena moving through space and time.
Absolute peace and balance is the backdrop.
Actually when I first began this journey these experiences were such a surprise.
Familiar in childhood but in adulthood sometimes didn't occur for many years.
A surprise and delight that lingered for long periods like exposure to bright light.
Let me take a deep breath.
So beautiful Cassie.
What a blessing you continue,
What a blessing this is,
This capacity to arrive in the clearing of such splendor beyond the turmoil that minds can cause.
And you're ending your message with thanks again Ruben for your loving and generous and passionate teaching that you tipped us into.
Love to all.
Yes Cassie,
So beautiful that the tipping point resonates with you and rang a bell so to speak.
And yes for me as well these Buddhist teachings they always somehow bring you back to day one as if the learning starts from scratch since there's so much activity always going on within the mind.
Judgment,
Well what have we more,
Insecurities.
All kinds of new situations that seem to be challenging,
Physical challenges as you know so well Cassie.
So well Cassie.
And connecting back to the teachings of the Buddha or other teachings I feel is so helpful because it's always so fresh and showing us so beautiful where we are kind of at.
If we're clear,
If we're soft in a way as well,
If we're open to life,
If we notice life at all.
Since we are not noticing it that much the teachings always bring me back to noticing life,
To seeing again and enjoying it.
Yeah,
Seeing the mystery of it all,
Looking around,
Simply looking around is very helpful I feel.
And this usually starts by sitting down,
Taking a moment,
A deep breath.
So let's do this again Cassie.
Taking this deep breath and then suddenly noticing that this breath is happening automatically,
Always here.
And then suddenly noticing that this breath is happening automatically,
Always here showing us that we are in and out.
Paying attention to the in-breath and to the out-breath.
Softening,
Releasing tension in the body,
Feeling our feet,
Hands,
The belly moving,
The chest,
Maybe some painful parts in the body that seem to ask for attention.
Softening there as well.
As we keep paying attention to the breath,
Breathing deeply.
And might this be a tipping point again,
Given by life.
For me it feels,
When this happens,
As if life is truly giving or bringing me a gift,
A true gift,
Asking me to not do anything.
I recently recorded a new audio on this.
An audio created to fall asleep deeply.
But one that's also helpful to be reminded during your day to,
At times,
Not do anything.
And to embrace this fact that life is asking us to,
Sometimes,
Do nothing.
And there it is again.
Automatically a deep breath arises,
When tapping into this possibility to step away from it all,
So to speak,
To stop,
To fully stop.
In this spacious awareness,
Which you share,
Cassie,
I feel,
When fully allowing to rest deeply,
When fully tapping into this possibility to know that there's nothing for me to do right now,
In those timeless moments,
Somehow,
This loving,
Non-personal awareness shows up very easily.
Maybe you can notice right now,
Also,
When you're listening to this message,
Feel warmly welcome to soften,
And to allow this possibility to truly do nothing.
Even when,
Somehow,
You feel like there's nothing for you to do right now,
To truly do nothing.
Even when,
Somehow,
You feel like this or that needs to happen,
Or might need to happen today,
Right now.
And this is so powerful,
If you get to notice this possibility right now,
Here,
Timelessly so,
There's nothing,
There's just this.
And this is-ness,
It's okay,
It's enough.
Can you,
Somehow,
Allow yourself to open up for this possibility,
To not go into thinking,
To not go into this fake future,
And this fake past.
To fully allow that life,
Right now,
Is bringing you this beautiful gift of not having to do anything.
Full stop.
Yeah,
Another deep breath.
Yeah,
Life wants you to feel this option in life,
And to remember this,
Also,
During your day.
To fully stop.
To,
Kind of,
Enter this beautiful,
Spacious awareness.
This space that is so open,
Warm,
And loving.
So soft.
And if you feel a contraction happening,
Know that it's always helpful to go back to your breath,
Noticing the in-breath,
Noticing the out-breath.
Simultaneously,
Noticing that in this moment,
This timeless moment,
There's nothing for you to do.
Truly nothing.
You might even want to consider that it's not even possible for you to do anything right now.
I say,
Practice.
I can't do anything.
It just isn't possible.
And suddenly,
Love.
Love is showing up again.
This beautiful fragrance of life.
It feels so soft and open.
The feeling of being this person that seems to be locked up within all life circumstances,
Within all its feelings,
And thoughts,
And memories.
It's no longer here.
Right now.
Right now.
Your whole body transparent.
A release,
A relief.
Not having to do anything again.
But I have.
.
.
No,
No,
No.
Not now.
Life is giving you this gift once more.
See it,
Embrace it,
Take it as a gift.
If you truly allow this right now,
That life is showing you something.
Something of great importance.
Such a profound message.
And this message will pop up during your day.
Again,
When you're busy talking to people,
Suddenly,
Ah,
Okay,
Full stop.
Softness,
Breathing happening,
Noticing that you are already okay.
Okay,
Already so perfectly fine.
Looking around,
Seeing the mystery of life.
Maybe noticing a tree,
A flower.
Beautiful being.
The eyes of someone else.
Maybe when you're by yourself,
Looking at your hands,
Noticing the wonder,
The mystery of all.
May you be well.
May you be happy.
Kesi,
And you as well,
If you're listening to this message,
May you all be safe and free from suffering.
Sending much love.
And thank you,
Kesi,
Again.
What a joy to have you in my life,
To feel your deep friendship,
So beautiful.
Until we meet again,
Much love.
Bye.
