Let us sink in deeper in this moment,

Since the opportunity is there again.

It's always there,

But right now,

Somehow,

Life is giving us this opportunity,

Very clearly again,

To sit down and to notice that we are,

Mysteriously so,

That we are here without even thinking.

And with or while thinking is happening,

Something is already kind of noticing all this,

No thoughts no memories,

And still there's this subtle knowing that we are.

Maybe right now we can practice this a little bit,

Giving all thoughts away,

Very firmly decide to give it all away.

An automatic deep sigh of relief happening here,

A deeper relaxation,

Noticing life as it is,

Sounds,

Smell,

Taste,

Touch,

And all the sensations in the body.

Seems like a lot going on at the same time.

And underneath all this,

There's this,

What we could call silence,

Peace.

Also during your day,

This peaceful,

Nameless space is also there,

It's never not here.

It's where all arises from,

It's loving,

Warm.

Ram Dass refers to this as loving awareness,

I really resonate with that word,

With those two words,

Loving awareness.

He keeps repeating this phrase,

I am loving awareness.

And life from being loving awareness seems to be so okay,

So trustworthy,

So peaceful,

And so clear as well.

And because there are no mistakes findable,

There's also no doubt,

There's just a very stable unaffected presence,

Palpable,

And kind of touching upon this stable essence can be very profound,

Moment to moment,

Because many times a day we are gone,

So to speak,

Caught up in thinking most of the day.

And as we practice these short moments of clarity,

Of peaceful presence,

By listening to words that I am now sharing,

You'll notice that you as this being will be more aware of awareness itself,

No longer caught up in thinking 24-7,

But more and more short moments in the midst of all situations you'll notice that you are there,

You are clear,

Open,

Warm,

Loving.

And then most likely sucked in again in this bubble of thoughts,

Feelings,

Memories,

Sensations,

Totally identified as being this person,

And then suddenly,

Wow,

Ah,

Yeah,

This is what I am.

Beyond words,

It's not a mental thing,

It's a clear knowing deep within and beyond this feeling of being a me that needs to control life.

There is a very natural flow,

A peaceful state of being,

Which is not really a state of being,

All words being used to point to that which has no words,

That which is incredibly beautiful,

That which shows us that we are okay.

Also when life seems to be very hard,

Somehow we can tap into this spacious,

Loving awareness.

Not so much,

Or actually not as a me,

There's no me tapping into anything,

There's just a letting go of this identification,

And this happens in a split second,

Timelessly so.

There you are,

You beyond this me.

One could say a new you,

Or a you-less you,

A you where somehow it's so obvious that life is as it is,

Like Ajahn Sumedho so beautifully repeats,

It's like this.

And when this becomes more integrated in the life of a human being,

The fight ceases,

No longer an argument with life,

Life is seen as it is,

It's like this.

And again,

This is not so much a me that sees it like this,

It's beyond this me again.

It's a radical shift which can be really smooth as well,

There's no struggle in getting there,

There's no fight against life to get somewhere new.

It's already here.

You might have heard this many,

Many times before,

It's already here,

And maybe this is even exhausting for you.

To notice yourself being in this seeking mode,

But that's also as it is,

It's like this.

And maybe right now you can notice some relief,

Worrying a lot in life,

Or not feeling good enough,

Or not feeling secure,

Or feeling comfortable,

Or doubting a lot in life.

It all is like this.

And isn't that beautiful?

It's just like it is.

Tension in the body,

Maybe feelings of insecurity arising during a conversation or when thinking about something,

This feeling of not knowing how to live life,

It's like this.

It's okay,

It's all okay,

Sadness,

Grief,

It's all so beautifully okay,

It's like this.

Finally,

Maybe,

Maybe even finally,

Yeah,

Finally noticing that life is supposed to be as it is,

All that appears is supposed to be like this.

And for the mind this is kind of hard to understand,

Because it will always fight or argue with life,

But maybe when tuning into this beautiful,

Loving awareness,

Being this,

Knowing that you are beyond every word,

Beyond every thought,

Beyond all that you can ever imagine,

Beyond all your memories,

Knowing this deeply,

Moment to moment,

Will change your life forever.

Suddenly,

You might notice some feeling of depression,

And within that experience,

Within those feelings,

A clarity will arise.

Life will show that it's supportive in that moment,

Will show,

Suddenly,

Ah,

Okay,

This is what this identified me used to label as being a depression.

Okay,

So now I'm depressed,

Now I don't feel nice and beautiful and happy.

So there's this kind of dark cloud surrounding,

Quote unquote,

Me.

But then,

Suddenly,

Ah,

Oh,

Might this not be true?

A deep sigh of relief again,

Clarity,

Silence.

And maybe still this dark cloud,

This feeling of being depressed,

Not knowing how to live,

These uncomfortable sensations and feelings and memories and thoughts,

All happening.

And simultaneously,

There's this deep relief.

In that moment,

In that timeless moment,

There's this clarity.

Ah,

Okay,

It's like this.

And when this is noticed,

You might also notice in those moments that the feeling of being depressed is no longer that strong.

There's a little gap,

Some light coming in,

The dark cloud disappearing slowly,

And maybe not directly,

And maybe even getting stronger at times,

Because somehow life is holding the space for more negative feelings or trauma that seems to arise.

But while all this is unfolding,

You as this beautiful,

Clear space,

You beyond the feeling of being this little me,

In that moment,

Is,

Just is.

And this is-ness,

Ah,

This is-ness is enough,

So enough.

And as this is happening more and more during your day,

These moments of pure clarity,

As this happens more often,

You find yourself resting more and more.

Resting like this,

Moment to moment,

I would say is the best there is.

It's such a warm feeling arising underneath all that seems to be arising.

It's as if you're noticing life to be a movie,

Strongly identified in that movie,

And suddenly,

Ah,

You're noticing it's just a movie.

There's something beyond all this that is witnessing this.

And this that is witnessing all is life itself,

Is.

It's just okay.

And this isn't always easy to access for this human being,

Not at all.

But the fact that it's accessible,

And maybe you can somehow notice it right now,

After listening to these words again,

Maybe somehow deep within you as this human being,

Which are also just words,

Can also notice that there's a deeper truth underneath all we think to be true.

And when this is clear,

There's just,

Ah,

An okay-ness.

But it seems to be a path in which it's kind of necessary to practice.

At least,

That's what I experience in my life,

That it's very helpful to keep listening to teachings that refer to this loving awareness,

To the essence of our true being,

Until our last breath.

And there will be times where it truly will seem to be impossible to be as this loving space.

Physical pain,

Illness,

Or deep despair,

It might take over your whole life.

But maybe in those moments,

It can be helpful to listen to one of these talks again,

Or by other teachers.

Or maybe also,

Which is also perfect,

Find some distraction from time to time,

Watch a movie,

Or read a book.

It's all okay.

It's all okay.

It's all okay.

After watching a couple of movies,

You most likely will return to teachings like these again.

At least,

That's my own experience again.

They are somehow stronger.

The message is more appealing than watching another drama.

Isn't there drama enough already in our lives?

But once again,

Watching movies can be very beautiful as well,

Or reading a novel.

It's all okay.

Life itself doesn't judge.

And what I'm sharing here is just my own path and my own experience.

The peace that is feelable here many times a day hasn't been there throughout my whole life.

Gradually,

More and more,

There's this deep trust in life because of practicing,

Because of kind of training this being to listen differently to life.

And all this is unfolding very naturally.

There's no effort in this.

Well,

There might be moments where it feels like effort,

But most of it is effortless.

So,

Shall we take a deep breath right now before I finish this session?

And may you all find peace within,

Moment to moment.

And may you enjoy life as it is.
