Use Your Thoughts To Become Fearless

Have faith in yourself. Then you can have real happiness. You create that happiness inside yourself with your thoughts It belongs to you. No one can take that away from you. It is created inside you. If you don’t have faith in yourself, you are at the mercy of all the other energies around. This can bring fear and fear will bring regret. It's not all about being clever. This might bring you a position but constantly having to prove you are right will bring a lot of heaviness.

And today we're going to look at how to use your mind to become fearless.

So we should all go away today feeling very full of power and not scared of anything.

Okay,

So to set the scene,

The seed for this is meditation.

And it's meditation on the self as the point of living energy in the center of the forehead and if it was possible to remember the one above.

And for successful meditation the whole idea of meditation is to slow down our thoughts.

The seed of our world is our thinking.

And when we're in the moment now we're creating thoughts and so it's possible actually to create whatever we wish.

And what we say is when you start looking at slowing down your energy thinking of the one above with the thought to become fearless.

It's a huge thing to think of becoming fearless,

Amazing.

And it means that it's so.

What would be the benefit of this?

It's a dreadful energy.

And the seed for that is to first of all have faith in yourself.

Have faith in who you are,

Whoever you are,

However you are,

Because that's what you've created for yourself and you've been on a long journey.

And within you you have many,

Many wonderful qualities.

And when you have faith in yourself you won't be at the mercy of all the other energies that are around you.

Otherwise if you don't have faith in yourself you'll find so many things to make you feel worried,

Concerned,

Powerless,

Fear.

And fear will bring you regret.

I wish,

I wish,

I wish I had an oh,

I wish I could or whatever.

So if I maintain regular meditation practice I can learn the best way to use my mind.

My mind and my thoughts are so valuable.

And actually I can create a beautiful life.

So in today's worlds there's many scenes that are upsetting,

That are fearful,

That worry us,

Not just the scene but maybe looking into the future creates us concern.

We don't like these scenes at all.

And so these are upsetting my mind.

And yeah of course we know what's going on but I can also create for myself feelings,

Inner strength,

Inner power,

Understanding,

Resilience,

Beautiful thoughts.

I can see myself going through scenes that are more unpleasant,

Easier and more easily over and over again.

And if I create happiness inside that happiness will belong to the self,

Belong to you.

And if I create happiness inside through having a nicer,

Better,

Healthier way of thinking,

No one can take that away.

No one go into my head and remove or tell me how to think.

Yeah others can actually affect me and affect the way I think but I can practice being more and more steady.

If I speak very quickly then my thoughts will be very fast.

I want to catch myself and teach myself to speak more slowly and then it's easier to think more slowly.

When I think more slowly I can see more clearly what I'm thinking.

And when I have that practice more and more certainty and confidence can come into me because I know I'm aware of what I'm thinking and the things I think are recorded in me.

So I'm creating a record.

It's not just that I think and it flies away but I'm creating a record inside me.

And so all of this,

To be fearless,

Isn't about being clever and constantly trying to prove that you're right because this will bring a lot of heaviness and it's like not to compare ourselves to others but to accept others as they are.

We're all,

There's nothing will change this,

We're all different,

Very different,

Nobody's the same as another person and often it's the differences that don't us and we think oh well maybe I should be more like that or more like this or no just be yourself actually and accept others as they are.

Appreciate your friends.

Usually it's your friends you can get annoyed with actually because they're definitely different from you but try to understand them with have a big heart and watch out for yourself having feelings of superiority or inferiority.

You think you're maybe better in a lot of ways,

Just one of them and maybe not as good at something to the other one and these feelings are not good because you'll never feel in harmony.

You really want to feel a feeling for equality and equality doesn't mean being the same,

It means that you feel comfortable in each other's company without being daunted by them being better at a certain subject than you but you'll be better at something else because that would be your speciality but you don't flaunt it you just that's how you are and that's how they are and there's no point to trying to be the same that's what creates the superiority or the inferiority we're the same as ourselves we are ourselves and they're their self themselves so we aim for equality and we could think how is equal vision how is it possible it's possible when I know that I am a soul a soul a point of light I'm recording everything inside myself and my heart is looking for the best outcomes and my heart is looking to build a better way of thinking and to create happiness and I need to credit this to others even if they don't do what I do but my happiness my vibration could have a good effect on them so I should look at if I want to learn something and I want to understand and I look at words words are very meaningful they're there to tell me something because we think in words and if I don't process words then they will just slip away they'll get recorded over I won't be able to remember things that are good and so within Raj yoga we say you know think of things over and over that are meaningful to you process words and extract the feelings and the meaning because this means that these feelings and the meaning of these feelings go into the soul it's like if someone gets up to do a talk and they've never even heard you don't even know anything about the subject but they're clever and they have it all written down and they're very good at reading quickly and laughing and making people laugh and acting and saying and saying but the words were empty there was just a story no meaning wasn't coming from their heart because it was just words they were just acting out a role so these words were like an empty script people might have enjoyed it for the moment and they go away maybe laughing and shaking hands and saying that was absolutely great but when they got home they wouldn't even remember what it was all about so we say that it's not to do with the head but to use the head to extract the good of what you read or hear and then your head will become a head that's very useful for you and you'll have a head and a heart a warm heart because you'll have the feelings of the heart will have gone into the head otherwise you'll just be thinking of empty words and you'll think I don't know I don't understand what they're talking about I don't know what that's all about mmm I've never heard of this before this doesn't make sense to me I've I've come across this quite a lot and so if you understand something sincerely it's sincere we talk about an honest heart and a sincere heart if you understand what you're talking about there's a good chance it will bring some form of consolation to someone else they'll get touched a bit by the calmness or the peace and you yourself will be touched by the calmness and the peace but if you don't know what you're talking about and you don't even know what you're thinking about it's not going anywhere so it's not just to say well I heard I did this I did the course in meditation and what do you remember about it nothing really so you didn't practice you didn't listen you didn't do get the feelings and it's all about the self it's not the feeling of the meditation which is just a something a subject it's you the person the soul that's experiencing your life so if something's good keep a hold of that extract whatever you can and then I build up an experience because words become more than a story I can build up an experience then my words can help and uplift otherwise words chatter stories are like an empty script there of no meaning they do nothing for me they do nothing for anyone else so every soul has greatness and is special and that includes ourselves which is why we look at becoming fearless I can become fearless when I know myself I know that I can be undaunted I know that I can face challenges that come I know I can look out into the big picture but I can still see good things that I want to think about and so the sound of the heart all these good feelings that I create in my heart the heart is the soul so when I create those feelings in my heart says my heart is full of all those vibrations of appreciation and strength and kindness and hope and sincerity they're recorded in I the soul and the sound of the heart if that's in me it comes out of me in a vibration and it reaches the heart of others when I just think of the practical side and think oh well I don't know well that's what's supposed to do and I maybe do it that way and I've not got time at the moment but maybe I'll and how long am I supposed to meditate five minutes maybe I'll do five minutes before I go to my work I get this a lot then there's not a lot of good resonation going on not a lot of sound of the heart going on in there so it then becomes us like a story or just a sort of words meaningless and the sound of the head will reach the head so when I talk to others I'll talk and I'll share the words I might say yeah I've gone to oh yeah I went to meditation they won't be touched they won't be bothered won't be interested because you're not and even if you want to be you haven't practiced and so there's nothing resonating in there to do with what it is you would like to achieve if you want to achieve something it has to be something that you want to do and you have to think about it so the vibration is in there it's really slippery because we're talking about spirituality all the time we're not talking about out there the world everything's practical and physical and most things are like an empty script out there and so your faith when you start to do this kind of thing will be tested and so you have to continue to check your foundation you'll have many foundations they'll be your could be your religious beliefs do you believe in the one above it could be do you believe have you started to really believe in yourself it could be the company you keep it could be the lifestyle that you have that will all get tested for you but if you believe in what you're doing you'll start to enjoy the journey and when you know that putting the good vibrations into your own head no one else can go into your head even the one above never interferes in your karmic account and would never go into your head your head is yours and so check that your foundations are strong and aim for equality with the people around you as much as possible and an equal vision with them be possible for you and your friends and your family you want you won't feel compromised by them you won't look down on them think you know you know something's made you smart you won't feel superior and you won't feel inferior when they have skills and all different positions that are higher than what we ourselves happen to have at that point you would feel that you're at one and these are feelings that go a far far stretch into being fearless and this feeling of powerlessness will bother us less and less so I'm going to see if we have any questions at this point.

Could you say something about more about having a spiritually clever head so we do need the surface understanding sort of engaged intellect but it needs to develop into wisdom so how do I do that go from just empty words to yeah well we're all different and if I sincerely want to what did you say spiritually clever it means I can be I can only be clever actually when I know myself to be honest and then when I see others I can begin to understand where they're coming from because it's all to do with relationship how others treat you how you feel when they treat you tells you where they're at and without looking at it spiritually we rebel against certain things or we compromise ourselves because of that and we try so hard to please them because of that and and that will never never work no one you can never people please you do but it never works because people will then see you as weaker than lesser than even the best of people and they won't treat you the same inside their head and so you won't get happiness from that but if you want to have that wisdom you really do need to see how you think and then quite often you'll see that it's you're the one that should that you change you're the one that was wrong there so it gives you an inner wisdom that you wouldn't have been able to have had before it's always the looking at the self and thinking of relationship you never want to compromise a relationship you never want to hurt another person but that's almost impossible if you're doing it in a physical way could you get annoyed you get upset you feel you want to challenge you want to prove yourself right etc etc these things are not wise because once you've done that it's very difficult to repair okay just as you're speaking as well I'm feeling I guess the heart is reaching the heart there's a feeling of lightness so I'm feeling like real wisdom is actually quite a light thing because I think sometimes we think of wisdom as being quite heady and heavy almost to be wise deep but actually it feels like meditation is helping me to lighten up could you say something about the place for humor and light yeah yeah I think actually you can you can develop a lot of humor that you didn't have before and you can see the funny side of things better but also because if you were practicing meditation it's a lighter energy that you're practicing your practice that you could be practicing virtue cheerfulness friendliness smiling happiness healthiness better lifestyle looking after the body better keeping it healthier etc being nicer to your friends and being better with your family etc and so and then when things come that are daunting you're more able to yeah okay and then you can really laugh because you get a window into yourself over and over and over again as to how you would have reacted and how know you don't react the same nothing nothing's heavy nothing's heavy because everything you do and it's a lightning for you it's like we've got a burden of going down the heavy paths and once we stop that it's every time you do meditation it is possible and hopeful for everybody that after that meditation you've actually got rid of a lot of heaviness that you're actually lighter and you're positioning of yourself so if you've been doing meditation for say for a year you should be lighter inside and the way you your outlook the way you position yourself inside emotionally and everything and if you continue you'll become more and more the word we were using today was have faith in yourself more faith in yourself and more fearlessness and more mercy because you're getting stronger inside stronger and lighter and more resilient fresh it's like a fresh thing it's like a spring clean anyone can do it anyone can do it yeah okay okay thank you so now we're going to do a little bit of meditation so I'm chanting being aware that you're the soul that living point of beautiful life energy in the center of your forehead your original nature is free from the heavy energies there are no heavy energies in your original nature your original nature is purest energy fresh clean sparkling and your original nature is completely beautifully calm and cool steady and unshakable and your original energy is full of feelings of well-being and love for others belonging togetherness and your original energy is absolutely light fresh and filled with happiness sparkle kindness just to practice I am a soul purest most beautiful loving energy I've got faith in the self I am light Oh Chancy
