Every soul has a responsibility to contribute their good vibrations to help create a high-quality atmosphere and a beautiful life experience for everyone. Many people feel hopeless and find it hard to believe that peace and harmony as possible. Courageous souls will have a deep feeling that peace is possible.

You've got to accentuate the positive,

Even if I need the negative.

Latch on to the affirmative,

Don't mess with Mr.

In-Between.

You've got to spread your neck up to the maximum,

And welcome to Soul to Soul.

My name is Rose from Camaries Glasgow,

Inner Space,

And as you may have heard in advance,

We're going to talk about accentuate the positive.

A little,

Just a bit of a change.

And so,

Yeah,

We're looking at how to keep ourselves light and fresh and healthy and happy and do our best to stay on track and not get too carried away with things that make us unhappy.

When we practice meditation,

The more and more we listen to different aspects of people's experiences and the more we practice and listen to positive things,

It starts to resonate with us that we are the living life energy,

Excuse me,

In the centre of the forehead,

And that everything that happens in our personal world comes from inside our own head.

So if I get caught up too much with all the millions of others' personal world,

That's filled with tragedies.

One thing,

Knowing,

One thing,

Feeling empathy,

One thing,

Understanding,

Supporting,

But it's another thing,

Getting traumatised and so not to get traumatised,

But to keep fresh,

Because if I keep fresh inside,

I can be very,

Very useful.

My energy can be very useful to the world.

Everyone in the world is my brothers,

They're all souls,

And we're all equal,

And we have love for everyone,

And we want to be able to give the best of ourselves to our brothers' souls.

And so the only way I can do that is if I stay aware of the energy that I create inside my own head,

Because that energy is coming out all the time.

So the more I practise meditation,

And if I can keep a wonderful aim of bringing more peace and happiness into the world,

And if I could remember that each of us as souls has a responsibility to contribute good vibrations and create a high quality atmosphere and a harmonious life experience,

Not just for myself,

But for everyone.

Again,

I'll say these are my brothers,

They're all souls,

We're all equal.

Equal is a funny word.

Equal doesn't mean that we're all the same and we look the same and we act the same and we have the same belief structure,

We know that isn't true.

We're all so different,

It's the variety that is the wonder,

It's the beauty of the world.

And when I can think of equality as that to feel at one with everyone,

No matter what,

Because everyone's got a right to be who they are.

Everyone has a right to their space and to be alive.

And so many people feel hopeless and they find it hard to imagine having peace and harmony.

It can feel a bit tricky at times,

Even in small groups,

Even within people you know,

You can think,

Oh my goodness,

For goodness sake,

Never mind looking out into a bigger picture,

Just look into the small groups.

However,

If I practice meditation and practice understanding who I am and the responsibility I have to look after my own energy,

I can become courageous.

And courageous souls will hold a deep feeling that peace is definitely possible.

It's definitely possible because it's our original nature.

And it's,

Believe it or not,

Might be a wee bit tricky to think of at times,

But it's the original nature of every single soul on the planet.

Peace is our nature.

And you can see how we've sort of pulled away from that quite a lot at times,

But it is our original nature.

So no matter what,

If souls are able to feel that peace is possible,

Then those heroic souls would maintain the aim of holding in themselves that unity,

Harmony and equality and peace.

I think the important word here is equality,

To realize that equality is that everyone is a soul the same as me.

It's just that we get different ways and we start to think we're superior and inferior and smart and not so smart and educated and not so educated and we get carried away with ourselves.

And so if I could remember,

I'm just playing a role,

Everyone's playing a role.

It takes a lot of attention to keep rays of positive thoughts flowing out.

So daily meditation is essentially if I want to stay like this,

If I want to be of real use,

Raise up your self-image,

I am a soul.

I'm a point of peace and my soul,

My home is a world of golden red light.

So we all come from there.

All of us come from there.

All of us,

We don't come from anywhere else,

We come from there.

And we're all there together at some point close to the divine.

We all have the same form and the same home.

It's a constant choice or effort to try and keep this way of thinking actually,

Or I can see it as a game.

This is to just play around,

To keep myself steady and keep myself giving it my best shot.

It's an opportunity to bring out the best in myself.

We always want to see the best in others or the brothers to give the best of themselves to me.

And it doesn't always happen and then we're disappointed.

To keep stretching my thoughts to the highest possible positive state is an art.

It doesn't just happen like that,

It's an art.

I have to encourage myself to just don't go there but go there.

So I have to eliminate the negative and keep going for the positive.

It is an art.

And you'll improve this daily if you do daily meditation.

It is a bit like getting physically fit.

I can only do a little bit but I can get stronger and more flexible and more agile.

It's also like if I practice the meditation and keep teaching myself how to keep going in the more positive way rather than go down the way,

It's a bit like dancing in the mind.

Dancing is a skill as well,

Isn't it?

And it can keep us light.

I need good sweet music to encourage me to move my mind in a beautiful uplifting direction.

So we're not exactly talking about physical music so much although that would be okay.

But we're talking about the music of my thoughts,

Light thoughts of benefit.

And the benefit first would be for myself because if I have beautiful energies coming through my head,

It's automatically going out into the world.

But that beautiful music,

That beautiful energy in my head will be uplifting me and making it easier for me to have what we might call meditation and to focus on the positive.

So I have to keep my efforts steady.

I need a catchy,

Regular method.

We see in here rhythm but not rhythm but so much as like I need a regular way.

I need to know that every day at a certain time I'm going to sit for meditation or every day I'm going to definitely take time out at certain times of the day.

I need it to be steady.

It's like anything I try to build,

Building has to be a steady thing.

It can't be a shaky thing.

So if I can keep myself steady,

It will encourage me to keep moving in a beautiful and uplifting direction,

Which for me,

Myself,

Will keep me lighthearted,

Fresh,

Friendly,

Healthy,

Positive and more and more supportive and all sorts of qualities coming from this.

I'm sure a lot of you are doing meditation and experiencing a lot of these energies.

If I was to have choices,

Do I want to see things as sunny or cloudy or do I want to see things as bright or stormy?

Do I want to be or think positive or negative?

Would I like to feel buoyant or heavy?

Would I like to see something good in someone or something or be critical,

Something negative and be critical of it?

How would all these energies make me feel?

Be the cloudy,

Stormy,

Negative,

Heavy,

Critical?

It would be making me feel unhappy.

It really is so simple.

It would make me feel not good.

And also it would endanger my health.

My physical health would be compromised by heavy energies going,

Percolating through my head because it affects the whole body system.

So if I want to be fresh myself,

Useful for myself and then therefore useful for others,

A better quality of thinking and energy is really a requirement.

Would I like to be kind or hateful,

Hate someone,

Cool or have anger?

Would I like to be in harmony or would I like to be creating a division?

So how would I be speaking to people?

Would I be creating dislike and hatred in them?

Would I like to be creative or destructive?

I don't want to be destructive,

Do I?

Because these thoughts would be affecting me either so.

Would I like to be open or closed?

If I was closed and locked up,

Which would mean I would feel frustrated,

I would feel imprisoned,

I've got nothing to do with this lock up,

I would feel in myself I couldn't express,

I would feel really unhappy.

Lots of discomfort.

And so when I do meditation and I start to think of what is it all about?

What is life all about?

Why am I here?

And who are these people all around me?

Whoever they are,

I probably don't know half of them.

I might only know a few people,

But the few that I know,

How am I about them in my mind?

Because if I have really bad thoughts in my mind I have to stop.

Because they're not worthy of my criticism because let me look at myself,

Am I perfect?

Am I perfect that I could criticize others?

Am I so perfect that I could be so wonderful and see others as not nearly as half and a quarter as wonderful as me?

And that's not a very good attitude actually.

So,

You know,

Apart from anything else I would feel guilty or threatened or have such dislike or such regret if I did feel bad feelings for another soul.

And then that's where meditation comes in again,

I have to look at these energies that are coming up in me.

I would now call them unwanted energies,

I would say,

Don't look at Mr In-Between,

Latch on to the affirmative.

Because it's not going to do anyone any good,

It's not going to do the planet any good.

And once I've thought it,

The energy's gone out,

I can't bring it back,

I can regret it.

I can work and struggle to figure out what I did and why I didn't try and change it and that takes ages and a lot of other negative energy involved in that interaction.

But I can't take it back,

It's gone out.

Now just think how much negative energy goes out every day.

Because I think there's not that many people on the planet who are doing meditation,

There's a lot.

There's a lot compared to whatever there was before.

But compared to the billions on the planet,

There's far more people putting out the harsh energy.

And it's to do with themselves.

Most people have such terrible things about themselves,

They have to throw it on others.

And then we all get the whatever that comes from it.

We're all beautiful,

Beautiful energy.

And the more people that do meditate,

That will have an influence on the atmosphere of all the people who don't meditate.

So sometimes we might feel powerless,

We might feel such a feeling,

I wish I could do something,

I want to do something.

But I don't know what to do.

Because we're gentle souls,

We're peaceful souls.

We don't want to get involved in turmoil.

So what can we do,

What can we do?

But we can meditate.

And the meditation energies that go out will have an effect.

And there will be a certain point in time when that effect will have accumulated to such an extent that it will be felt visibly that something has happened.

So don't ever ever give up and don't ever lose hope or heart in yourself.

Keep lifting your spirits higher and higher and higher and higher.

And every day,

Every day feel yourself thinking more deeply with more and more value and feeling better within yourself,

Healthier within yourself.

Keep on dancing inside,

In happiness.

So keep on meditating,

Keep stretching your thoughts to the highest possible state.

And it will improve and improve and improve and improve.

I think I have some questions that's coming to me now.

You spoke about building,

Building being very important and not to have a shaky foundation.

So for all the positive things,

Obviously I want to go to positivity,

Buoyancy,

Brightness,

Freshness,

Creativity.

But in order to have a solid,

Strong foundation,

What would you say in terms of awareness and practice?

Well we need to focus on the fact that we are spiritual energy and get to know ourselves and then start the process of accepting ourselves from where we're at.

And then start the process of,

You're saying,

Building.

Try and build something that touches my own heart because there'd be something good in us that if we want to find out about these things that shows already there's something there that wants to express.

And I would say,

Keep on,

Have a practice,

Have a time.

Early morning is a good time and throughout the day remembering that you are the energy.

Be careful in your interactions with others,

Don't cause sorrow to others.

Do everything you can with your words and your thoughts and your actions to uplift others.

If you know you're going into a sticky situation,

Think of it in advance and teach yourself how to not come into confrontation of any kind but to figure it out and say something beneficial.

Okay.

My other question was about the idea of keeping a high aim to never give up hope.

To look at all of its self-improvement and then your other point about nobody's perfect.

And to use that information to not criticise others but to keep focusing on myself.

To have a high aim is to want to stay happy,

Content and satisfied with myself.

But only then can I stay thinking and how to be uplifting others.

I can't remember the second part of your question which was.

.

.

Knowing I'm not perfect.

Yeah,

We're not perfect.

None of us are perfect because we've been on a long journey and we have in what we thought was a normal natural way,

Gathered a lot of very negative ways of thinking and interacting.

And they've harmed us and the more we interact with them the more we won't have so many friends.

We'll hurt others.

And so,

To remember,

If I keep remembering before I go to judge or criticise someone,

Maybe we'll do it quickly because we have the habit but to do everything you can as quick as you can to put it right.

As fast as the speed of light if you can put it right.

Because it's not right to do that because it's not as if I'm Mr Perfect and I can say,

Oh,

You're this or that or the next thing.

We thought this was quite natural to interact like this but it's not because who has the right to judge others like this?

There's only one who would ever have the right to judge and that one doesn't judge us.

And so,

Yeah,

We'd have a look at that,

That we're not perfect but we're aiming to be as good as we can,

To be as helpful as we can.

And just finally,

You mentioned right at the start about having the wisdom to not feel traumatised by anything so that I can really be at my best,

So I can truly help.

So that when I see things that could be distressing I use this awareness to stay steady so that I can truly help and not get into the super trauma of everything.

How do you practice that?

I know,

I know.

I think we really do need to want so much to remember we are peaceful and we have to practice peace over and over and over and over and over again.

So that we love the feeling of peace and we can begin to understand that whatever is happening that we don't like is not coming from something peaceful and therefore I don't want to get into it on a physical level but I want to understand and have mercy and send out good vibes.

I want to make sure I'm not adding to the distress.

I want to make sure that I'm giving out good vibrations and I'm not adding to that distress and a good time to do that.

It's early in the morning.

If I do this early in the morning,

Everything is quieter in the morning and I'm able to hear my own thoughts and with sincere hearts we're able to send out something better.

And at that time I can feel I can connect with the divine and I can also feel that I can maybe even touch the hearts of some people that are close to me.

And so to really think about this.

Okay.

I'm chanting.

So we'll just do a minute of meditation.

Just sitting quietly for a minute or two.

Remembering we're a soul in the center of the forehead.

Being of light.

With all my original energies and powers within me.

My pure energy.

My peaceful energy.

My loving nature.

And my happiness.

Let me have a pure wish.

To put those energies out.

Into the world.

To soothe and uplift.

My brother's souls.

Let me keep myself calm and content.

Let me remember who I am.

Let me remember my capabilities.

Let me keep reminding myself that as I think.

So that vibration goes out into the world.

So let me watch my thoughts.

And my thoughts are the seed of my life and my nature.

I'm chanting.

Let me remember my capabilities.

Let me remember my abilities.
