I am the energy,

I am the soul.

It's very important and why is it so important?

Because everything out there,

Everyone,

Lovely people,

People around us,

Prompt us into reacting to what they're about,

Whatever they're saying,

Whatever they want,

Whatever they want to do.

They prompt us to reacting to that.

So before meditation,

Our whole way of being is to react to everything around us.

So everything around us prompts us into some form of whatever is response and so we're not the master of our energy.

Whatever is around us,

Whatever is the master of our energy.

Everyone else is the master of my energy.

The phone rings,

The phone's the master of my energy,

I have to answer the phone.

Now how I answer it is up to how I'm reacting to what's coming to me from that phone call.

So Raj Yoga says,

Concentrate and practice teaching yourself.

What do I want to say?

How do I want to think?

How do I want to feel?

How do I want to be?

How do I want to be in relationships?

Do I want to just be traumatized by certain relationships or do I think here's how I want to be?

So everybody says and does whatever they want to say to us.

So we have the right to think what do I want to say?

How do I want to be?

But I think it into myself and I choose the best quality.

And it might be a tricky situation,

But I think of the best quality thing I can say to keep things smooth.

That's how it is to do meditation throughout the day.

Keep on track,

Not just a one-off,

But it's teaching myself that I can use my energy.

I can use my energy.

I can use my thoughts.

I can use feelings.

I can use things for the best outcome for whoever is involved,

Although they might not even notice it's the best outcome.

But for myself I'm not pulled into forcefully getting agitated or annoyed or responding quickly in a way that I wish I hadn't said that.

Create positive spiritual thoughts and realize that you're the energy and feel the peace.

Your own peace.

Your own energy.

It belongs to you.

It's coming from you.

It's yours.

Meditation teaches us to become the master of that energy.

So I can use it in whatever way.

I can be kind and loving and generous-hearted and all different things.

And I can also go silent if a response is not required or I don't know how to respond to this situation.

Just smile and let it go.

People do that anyway and they do that to us and we think,

Huh,

That didn't go anywhere there.

So people do what they want to do.

So we're being taught to do what we want to do for the right reason and in the right way to help everyone around us to get a touch of that feeling of peace,

Power,

Strength.

Meditate.

Keep the focus and become soul conscious.

So meditation may give you a more positive outlook and help you find a meaning and a purpose in life.

And meditation allows you to tap into your inner potential.

It allows you to access your creativity and develop your spirituality.

Regular meditation practice can reveal answers to your deepest questions.

The answers are inside of us.

We think,

We look here and we look there and we go on that website and that website and we go in other places and we think and we speak to maybe religious people or clever people.

Oh,

I wish I knew how this works.

Inside us we know what works for ourselves and therefore we know what's best for people around me to feel that vibration.

We don't force or push or shove.

People can be as annoyed as they like,

As happy-go-lucky as they like and we just,

That's it,

That's the way it is.

We don't try to control anyone else.

We try to control ourselves.

The first step in meditation is to completely relax.

So why is it we would need to relax?

Because modern life is stressful,

Especially if you're involved in education I would say.

And full of so much to do,

So much,

Never stops.

Meditation is not about doing,

But it's about,

Meditation is not about managing time,

It's about you take time you enter a place of silence,

A timeless space that gives you your power.

Before you enter this timeless state of being,

You do need to relax,

Let go of all the worries and problems for a short time.

Go back to them,

But for a short time,

Teach yourself to let it all go.

Just I'm focusing,

I'm choosing to focus on my inner peace.

So you're starting to be in control of your energy.

I'm choosing,

I am choosing to look at my inner peace.

I don't want to think of complications right now.

This is what I'm thinking about.

And you begin to relax and relaxation is like entering through the front door of your home.

It feels so comfortable to become relaxed,

So comfortable.

And once you enter the front door,

You can let go of the day,

Put aside all the conversations,

Events and activities.

Don't need to say oh,

How can I do,

What will I do?

And come back home to yourself,

A state of inner tranquility.

Meditation involves the unseen parts of yourself,

That is,

Your thoughts,

Feelings,

Beliefs,

Your attitudes,

Your hopes,

All the invisible and subtle energies of human life.

And meditation lets you tune into the flow of these subtle energies that are your energies,

That belong to you.

And that's why we continue to practice inner peace,

Inner power.

It's good to let that be your slogan actually.

I use that all the time.

It's not that when you've been doing meditation for years that suddenly you're like,

Oh wow.

Because the day is always in front of your face and the different situations are always in front of you.

So for all those other situations that come in front,

That you didn't know were going to come,

You don't know how to handle them because they've just arrived.

It's like so constant inner peace,

Inner power,

Inner peace,

Inner power.

And then look at the situation and think,

Either let it go or just let it be,

Or think of something in which I can be useful within that situation.

So inner peace,

Inner power.

And another good energy to practice over and over,

Silence.

Gives you a space.

Silence.

When you think silence,

Nothing else is coming at that point.

So you begin to create a space between you and all of life's situations.

And you can then,

Very gracefully and beautifully,

Live your life and be of great help to people around.

You don't even need to tell them what's happening.

You just have to be.

And many people pick up on the energy without any words.

They just pick up that there's something,

Something that's touching me.

So what is it touching?

It's touching the you that's in here.

The you that's in here is being touched.

So remember yourself,

The soul,

The energy,

The being of peace.

Bringing light.

Taking just a minute.

Turning inwards.

I visualize myself as a lighthouse.

Strong,

Firm,

Stable.

Spreading light in all directions.

Illuminating the way for others.

I spread the light of love,

Peace and joy.

Empowering others on their journey.
