Hello,
I am Roseanne,
Your host and guide.
Thank you for being here.
This meditation is a gentle journey into the Ajna Chakra,
The third eye.
This energy center located between the brows is the seat of your intuition,
Your inner guidance,
And the deeper wisdom that lives beyond thought.
In this practice,
We're not here to think our way into insight.
We're here to soften,
To quieten the noise,
To simply sit with presence and allow the subtle seeing to arise on its own.
The third eye doesn't open through effort.
It opens through attention,
Through softness,
Through a soft awareness to the space between your eyebrows.
Let your physical eyes rest even as your inner eyes open.
There's nothing to achieve here.
It is simply an invitation to dwell in stillness and to see what arises in the dark,
Quiet sky of your mind.
So,
Let's begin.
Let yourself arrive into this moment,
Into your body.
Find a comfortable seat or lie down.
Let the shoulders soften,
The jaw release,
And let the eyelids close gently over soft eyes.
There's nothing to do now but be here.
Begin to feel your breath,
A quiet rhythm drawing you inward.
Let each inhale lift you lighter.
Let each exhale drop you deeper.
Now,
Bring your awareness to the space between the eyebrows,
The third eye,
The Ajna Chakra,
Seat of insight,
Intuition,
And quiet knowing.
There's no need to concentrate or strain,
No need to imagine anything.
Simply rest your awareness here,
Your soft gaze turned inward,
Open,
Present,
Receptive.
As you gently focus your attention here,
You may notice color,
Perhaps indigo or deep violet.
You may see light or even a sense of vastness.
And it's also perfectly okay to see nothing at all.
The point is not what appears but that you are present.
Let go of trying,
No need to search.
Simply dwell in the space of inner seeing.
And when thoughts arise as they will,
Simply notice them and return gently to the space between the brows.
Let your breath be your companion,
The soft anchor guiding you back.
With each exhale,
Let the mind empty.
With each inhale,
Open to stillness.
Ajna is the chakra of intuitive wisdom,
But intuition cannot be summoned by effort.
It arises in stillness,
In surrender,
When we are quiet enough to hear what is always there.
So,
We rest here,
Listening with the inner ear,
Seeing with the inner gaze,
Trusting what may rise or not rise.
All is welcome.
Invite your breath to deepen a little.
Begin to sense the shape of your body once more.
To feel the surface beneath you,
The room around you.
Take a moment to notice the quality of your awareness,
The spaciousness that you've created.
Know that this presence is always within you,
The quiet knowing,
The inner guide.
If it feels true,
Softly say to yourself,
I see clearly,
I trust my inner wisdom,
I rest in knowing.
Take a moment to send love and gratitude to your Ajna chakra.
Let it know that you are open to hearing its wisdom,
Feeling its guidance.
And when you're ready,
Gently bring some movement back to your fingers,
Your toes.
Stretch gently,
Satisfyingly,
And allow your eyes to open softly.
As you return,
Bringing your intuition with you.
Om Shanti.
