Welcome.
Let's just take a deep breath here in through our nose and sigh out through our mouth.
Let's do that one more time.
And now,
Like a swallow dives down from a cliff,
Let's dive down,
Down,
Down into our bodies,
Into the very center of ourselves.
Let's just focus on whatever sensations we find there.
And it might be that there's a twinge in your back or a pain in your head or an itch or a tickle somewhere.
It might be that your stomach is upset or you can feel your heart beating.
And let's just focus on whatever it is that you find without evaluating it,
Judging it,
Trying to shift it or change it.
We don't even have to name it.
We can just focus on it and be with it.
And let's just be with whatever we find right now for a few breaths.
Just in this being with whatever is actually happening,
I invite you to just get a little closer,
Maybe a little curious about what is going on here and maybe peer a little more deeply and notice if there's any characteristics that you notice about this feeling.
Maybe it's jagged,
Maybe it's warm,
Maybe it's red,
Maybe it has the quality of sunshine,
Maybe it's none of those things and it's something else.
And just notice what is to be noticed here.
Let's really just feel into it for a moment.
And if it shifts or changes,
That's okay.
Right?
We're not trying to hold the static.
We're just trying to observe it and be with it kind of like we would sit on a park bench with a friend right next to each other,
Being together,
Noticing what there is to be noticed.
And so we do that with the sensation or sensations as well.
And let's just take a few moments again to be with it and notice what there is to be noticed.
Now as we're with it,
We can,
As we use the metaphor of a friend on the bench,
We can turn towards this friend on the bench with us,
This sensation in our body.
And then I invite you to imagine if it could voice,
If it could speak to you,
What might it tell you right now?
And let's just listen.
And whatever is said or not said,
Shared or not shared,
We just see if there's anything else that needs to be communicated by the body right now.
And now we thank our friend,
The body,
This sensation for whatever it imparted or didn't impart.
And we start to rise back up out of the body,
Taking some breaths along the way,
Up,
Up like surfacing from a pool or a stream.
And we come back to this place and this time right now,
Carrying that message or that feeling that was left to us,
That small bit of knowing that the body wanted to share.
And as we open our eyes,
We hold that as a gift in our hands and in our hearts and carry it throughout the day.
It may be that it unfolds into more meaning or it may not.
And we hold it as the gift that it is.
Wishing you ease on the rest of your day and your journey.
Blessings.
