This is an exploration of how the body relates to relaxation and support. It is an exploration we do lying down on our backs. Surrendering into the support makes the body release deep tensions and allows for profound relaxation and breathing. Enjoy the slow, comfortable state that this journey will give you.

You You So Welcome to the audio I Hope you can find a place to lie down Can be on the ground can be on a mat on a mattress or in bed.

It doesn't matter Everything fine as long as you can be comfortable I'm lying on a mattress.

So I will refer to a mattress And you're on your back and you can put your legs any way you want them I can be far apart can be crossing each other The arms they can be anyway you want them to as long as you feel comfortable And during the exercise you always have The possibility of adjusting No need to be rigid in your posture No need to be rigid in your posture And if a deep yawn a deep breath a deep sigh Comes just let that air pass through Through your body and it is a good sign of letting go So we're lying on the mattress and Take a little time to feel as if you are arriving Landing as it were Realizing that you're resting On the mattress And sense the weight of the body Be dropping onto the mattress And the body has weight has mass That creates a certain pressure on the mattress Try to feel that you're pressing into the mattress And that the mattress is supporting that it's carrying that weight And maybe because of realizing that the mattress is holding you carrying you you can release even more And surrender the body into falling Dropping And so,

The realization of where the support is can help us into relaxing even more.

Can help us into surrendering into that support and using that support to relax.

So let's feel the legs,

The legs and the feet,

The hips and the pressure that they put because of the weight.

And the support that the legs receive.

So maybe you can let go even more,

Trusting that support,

Surrendering the legs into the support.

Are the feet dropping?

The ankles are they dropping?

The knees are they dropping?

The thighs are they dropping?

The hips,

The pelvis,

Are they dropping?

See if you can connect that dropping of the legs,

The pelvis into the belly.

Let the organs drop,

Let the belly drop.

And we feel the weight of the legs,

Pelvis,

The belly,

The lower back and the weight is resting into the matters.

And we're using that support,

We're trusting that support to really let go.

We're being held,

We're being supported.

And continue to dropping into the chest,

Letting the ribcage drop.

Feeling the support of the matters.

Can you feel where the chest is putting pressure into the matters?

Feel that support.

And surrender to that.

And inside the chest,

Let it drop.

And the arms are also supported.

The arms have weight,

Shoulders,

The upper arms,

The elbow,

The lower arms,

The wrists,

The hands and fingers,

All dropping into the support.

So feel the pressure,

Where it is putting pressure on the mattress and trust that support.

Surrender to it.

Let go.

And let it all go.

The arms and the chest and the belly and the pelvis and the legs and the feet,

All dropping.

Let it be supported as one piece,

One big mass.

The body.

Let's join the neck and the throat in the dropping.

The head,

A big weight of the head dropping.

Release the jaw,

It has weight,

You know,

It's dropping.

Release the eyes.

Release the face.

Release inside the head.

Everything dropping into the support of the mattress.

So feel the whole of the body,

The weight and where it is dropping into the mattress.

We're zooming in on that support that the mattress is giving us and we're realizing that we can surrender to that support.

Really let go.

Surrender to gravity.

To support to the state that is created by releasing.

And then the final step.

The final step is realizing that the body is breathing.

Feel that the inner space of the body is being filled with air and that the air goes out of that space as well.

So feel that the air is being filled with air and that the air is being filled with air.

And so the body is relaxing comfortably into the support of the mattress and the body is breathing.

Air coming in.

And air going out.

And air coming in.

You can remain as long as you like in this state.

Enjoy.
