Welcome everyone to today's meditation,
Inviting you to take a seat,
Lay down if you'd like.
Sitting up with a straight spine is best,
However,
Do whatever is comfortable for your body and as you find yourself seated or laying down,
Inviting you to close your eyes,
Take a few deep breaths as we open a prayer.
Divine Mother,
Divine Father,
Great Mystery,
Creator,
Mother Earth,
Powers of the Directions,
Enlightened Ones,
From the East,
South,
West,
North,
Below,
Above and Within,
To those Higher Beings of the Heavenly Realms,
The Enlightened Ones,
The True Masters and True Saints,
We invite you here at this time.
To the Soul and Higher Self of each person joining this meditation,
We ask for your presence and power at this time.
So as you breathe,
Noticing any shifts from this prayer,
Shifts in your body,
In your aura,
In your mind.
During today's meditation,
Our focus is honesty,
The power of honesty,
The medicine of honesty.
And so we ask for that understanding of honesty to be bestowed upon us at this time,
That each person meditating here can feel safe and secure in their life,
In their being,
So that they can ground,
So that they can let go,
And so that they can be honest with themselves.
Closing your eyes,
Continuing to breathe,
Setting an intention to stay perfectly still,
To keep your eyes shut and focused inward.
Taking three sighs into your heart,
Ah,
Sighing into your heart,
Letting go of any tension,
Letting go of any thoughts.
And as you sigh into your heart,
Inviting you to smile,
To smile authentically,
To feel a smile move across your face,
Sigh into your heart,
And smile.
So we're going to scan our body,
Slowly,
From the bottom of your feet,
And as you scan beginning with the bottom of your feet,
Being honest with how you feel,
Being honest with what's arising,
Not trying to change it or resist it,
Just being aware.
Moving up your legs,
Towards your knees,
Registering everything that's present.
Moving up your hips,
Up your thighs,
Through your intestines,
Your inner being,
Through your heart,
Your arms and hands,
Up to the top of your head,
And scanning back down again.
Moving at your own pace,
Holding an intention to relax and let go.
Wherever there's tension in your body,
If you feel heaviness,
Sigh and smile into that space,
Feel your body relax,
And let go.
And so,
We're going to smile into our heart now.
Now that you're aware of your body,
More present,
Come back to your heart,
Focus on that space in the very center of your chest,
Smile into that space,
Authentically smile.
Feel a warm,
Fuzzy,
Joyful sensation within your heart.
Imagine someone you love,
Think of falling in love,
Think of your partner,
Your children,
Your pets,
Someone or something that brings you authentic joy and love,
Warm,
Fuzzy,
Joyful sensations.
If you'd like,
You can imagine a horde of puppy dogs or kittens jumping on you.
You can imagine someone holding you,
If it's helpful,
You can even rub your heart with your hand,
Keeping your eyes shut.
And as you feel this warm,
Joyful sensation,
Take a few deep breaths into that space.
Now,
Centered in this place of love,
Take a step back to the space just behind your heart,
Just behind the center of your heart,
To a space called the seat of the soul.
From this space,
Feel the divine neutrality,
Peace and presence,
The pure witness.
And from this space,
Observe your body,
Observe your being,
And breathe deeply as you witness from this divine neutral place.
And from this space,
Focus on the word surrender,
Surrender,
Surrender,
Breathing in surrender and breathing out surrender.
If you'd like,
You can even sigh as you exhale,
Breathing in surrender,
Sighing out surrender.
And from this space,
A deep sense of letting go,
Continuing to breathe from this centered place,
Continuing to relax and let go of any tension.
Keeping your eyes closed,
We're going to leave you here to continue meditating as long as you'd like from this peaceful,
Surrendered,
Calm,
Neutral place,
Inviting you to continue to focus upon surrendering,
Relaxing,
And letting go.
