Do you want to let go of busy thoughts and just relax?
To let go of the worries of the day?
I've spent years helping people to relax,
And blending different relaxation techniques can be very effective at getting deep relaxation fast.
In this guided meditation,
I'll blend visualization and breathing practices for immersive relaxation,
Allowing you to just let go.
So,
Make sure you're in a safe,
Quiet place,
Not driving or using machinery,
So you can relax.
This isn't medical advice or therapy,
This is about empowering your personal growth.
So,
Make yourself comfortable,
Close your eyes,
And begin with a deep breath,
In through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
Take another deep breath,
With a long out breath,
Like a sigh.
Then let your breathing settle into its own natural rhythm,
And let your body relax,
Feeling into the surface underneath,
And allow your muscles to soften.
As they do,
Imagine any remaining tension just melting away.
Now,
Let a scene emerge in your mind's eye,
Imagine a landscape appearing around you.
You're sitting on top of a mountain,
You're warm and comfortable,
And you're gazing at the sky.
Magnificent views,
Blue sky,
Mountain valleys,
With little rivers far below.
Mountain plants and flowers dot the landscape.
Birds are soaring both overhead and below you.
Take in the lush colour all around you.
Hear the subtle sounds of nature.
As you observe,
Feel the stillness in this moment.
The calm.
Your mind following the gentle pace of nature.
Slowing.
Letting go.
Sliding into the peacefulness of the present moment.
So relaxed.
As you enjoy this moment,
Allow yourself to breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Filling your lungs,
Rejuvenating you,
Calming you.
With every in-breath,
Breathe in more calm.
With every out-breath,
Let go further.
With every out-breath,
Even more deeply,
Relaxed.
Take a little time now to enjoy this moment,
This peaceful place.
Deepening your relaxation with every breath.
Well done.
Now,
Slowly bring yourself back to the present moment.
Feeling the surface underneath you once again.
Being aware of the whole body.
And then,
Open your eyes.
Bringing with you that sense of relief and relaxation.
