Okay,
I want you to sit back,
Have a shuffle around,
Get yourself into the most comfy position you can and allow yourself to begin to relax.
You can do that by simply taking a few nice long slow deep breaths,
Allowing your eyes to comfortably close down and to begin really breathing that air into your lungs and allowing yourself to exhale any negativity,
Any stress,
Any tension.
Because it's time for you to sit or lay back and listen to my words,
To listen to some suggestions.
And for these suggestions to be effective,
For these suggestions to help you,
Requires you to relax,
To allow your brain to sit back,
To observe,
To let go of trying to think,
Of trying to understand,
To allow your inner mind to simply absorb.
Just like when laying in a bath,
Or standing under a shower,
Just absorbing the warmth,
The pleasure,
The joy,
The comfort and relaxation.
And you don't need to listen to me consciously,
Your inner mind will hear all you need to hear,
As you allow yourself to notice where you feel the most comfort within your entire body right now.
Allow yourself to notice where you feel the most comfortable right now.
And imagine that feeling of comfort spreading out,
Spreading out around your entire body to all areas,
From the very top of your head,
All the way down,
Down to the soles of your feet,
From your shoulders down to fingertips.
And remember that whatever happens around you,
You're always free to find and to hold onto that inner peace,
That relaxation,
And while holding onto that inner calmness,
Any of those old,
Unconfident patterns of thoughts and behaviours,
They once had a function,
They once did something for you,
But now you realise that there are other ways to achieve all the positive things that those old patterns used to get for you,
But this time without you having to do those old things in the future.
So I'd like the creative part of your mind now,
To begin to generate new ways to achieve all of those positive things,
Without having to do the old patterns.
And you may or may not know consciously what they are right now,
But you know that anything's possible.
Allow your inner mind to integrate these new choices,
These new reactions into your thoughts and behaviours,
At a rate and a speed that's acceptable to you from now on,
And just imagine how much better life can be,
How much better life will be,
As you're more confident in the future.
And your emotional signals,
They had a function too,
Emotional signals are part of your intelligence,
They send you messages,
And as you understand those emotional signals even better,
You realise that they can recalibrate,
They can adapt and change,
And allow you to experience even more calmness,
As you begin to learn from the wisdom behind your own feelings.
Right now,
We are instructing your inner mind,
A bit like an app on a phone,
We're instructing that part of your mind to begin to update the old operating software for thoughts and behaviours.
We're now searching,
Searching for anything that may be challenging,
Blocking,
Stopping you from achieving whatever it is that you want to achieve,
Overcoming the unhelpful,
Negative,
Emotional stories,
The stories that are being carried by you,
The stories that are no longer of any use to you,
In fact anything which is spoiling your existing life,
And with your permission,
Your inner mind can begin to gently file away and to release any useless,
Non-productive thoughts,
Feelings,
Reactions,
Removing them,
Releasing them,
So that they no longer cause any negative,
Unhelpful ideas,
Your inner mind can be amazingly helpful right now.
