Begin by lying down comfortably,

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

As you exhale,

Imagine any tension or stress leaving your body.

Focus on the feeling of relaxation spreading throughout your body.

Tenderness to your breath.

Imagine a wave of calm washing over you with each inhale and exhale.

Allow your breath to become slow and steady.

Visualize a peaceful place.

This can be any place that makes you feel calm or any other serene location.

Imagine yourself in this place surrounded by sights,

Sounds and smells of your surroundings.

Imagine yourself inhaling the peace and serenity of this place.

As you exhale,

Imagine any stress or worries leaving your body.

Focus on your body.

Starting from the top of your head,

Notice any areas of tension or discomfort.

If you find these areas,

Consciously release the tension.

Imagine these areas becoming loose and relaxed.

Focus on your mind.

Imagine any thoughts or worries floating away like clouds in the sky.

Try to become calm as you continue to breathe deeply and evenly.

Repeat to yourself some positive affirmations.

You may find yourself drifting off to sleep at any time during this meditation.

Simply allow yourself to drift off knowing that you're safe.
