Welcome to your late summer grounding session.
During these last few days of summer,
It can sometimes feel a bit hectic and busy.
We still have the heat and extroverted energy of the summer,
But also the more organized and scheduled feeling of the fall.
Taking time to ground in ourselves can help to calm our energy and allow us to show up feeling whole and complete in ourselves.
Taking just this short amount of time out of your day to calm your nervous system,
Help your body and mind to relax,
Is incredibly beneficial for yourself and for others.
So I invite you to come into a comfortable seated position,
Close your eyes,
Let go of the day,
Take a nice deep breath in,
Followed by a long deep exhale,
And as you feel your body begin to relax,
I'd like you to just simply allow yourself to be here,
Grounded in this moment.
Everything perfect exactly as it is.
Everything done that needs to be done.
Everything working out exactly as it needs to work out.
And in this simple meditation,
We will just be together,
Breathing and being.
I would like to introduce a mantra that you may repeat to yourself either silently in your mind or out loud if that feels right to you.
You are welcome to use it if your mind begins to wander from the silence,
Just to bring yourself back to this feeling of stillness.

But the pure awareness that runs through me.

Repeating the mantra to yourself or sitting in silence for the next few minutes,
And as you begin to come back to your body,
Slowly beginning to deepen your breath once again,
Bringing in a little bit of movement,
You can roll your shoulders back,
Maybe wiggle your fingers and your toes.
And when you're ready,
You can slowly blink open your eyes,
Returning to the light of the day.
