Breathe deep.
Breathe in that one power,
That one presence,
That one intelligence that permeates all life.
And relax.
Let your mind become still.
And let your body,
Your muscles,
Relax.
Feel the universal support.
Feel the universal energy.
Feel the divinity within you.
Good.
Very good.
And in this stillness,
Let yourself go deeper and deeper still.
And simply allow any random thoughts or any outside sounds to serve in deepening this experience.
Let yourself go deeper,
Deeper still.
Good.
Very good.
And in this stillness,
Your mind becomes aware of your higher self.
Allow your higher self to lead you,
To guide you on a journey,
A journey most sacred.
And wherever your guide leads,
Just allow your mind to follow.
Without a concern,
Without worry.
Simply follow your higher self to that place of pure divinity.
Good.
And as you recognize yourself standing here upon this sacred holy ground within yourself,
You become aware of a mist,
Almost a shroud.
You explore and walk into the mist,
Into the shroud.
And as your consciousness moves beyond the mist,
Beyond the shroud,
You become aware of a pedestal with a large leather-bound book sitting upon it.
Walk up to the book on the pedestal.
Feel the ancient leather beneath your fingertips.
Smell,
Smell that leather.
And in this most sacred space,
Behind,
Behind the mist,
You have placed your hand upon the book of beliefs.
Open it now.
Let your fingers pull the heavy,
Dusty leather cover back to reveal a parchment of fine,
Fine quality with an ancient script upon the paper.
And begin to turn those pages one by one,
Ever so gently.
And as you turn the pages,
You begin to realize some are in a handwriting you understand,
And some are not.
When you find a page that you can read,
Do so.
Look at the words.
Comprehend their meaning.
For this is the book of beliefs.
And then a wave of understanding washes over you.
This is your book.
Yours and yours alone.
For within this book is a recorded history of every belief you hold.
Within this leather volume resides the truth of your life.
And while some beliefs are unrecognizable,
Even hidden,
Those that we can comprehend serve to teach us,
To guide us.
And as you continue to turn the page,
Page to page,
You come upon a belief that just stands out,
Wherever your fingers may stop,
Whichever page catches your eye.
Spend a moment now and look at this belief.
Look at your life.
And I would like you to make a decision about this belief.
Is this a belief that serves you?
Is this a belief that serves your higher calling,
Your highest purpose?
If so,
Tear the page from the book.
And if not,
Tear the page from the book.
And now feel that belief in your hands.
If you really believe this belief no longer serves you,
Just wash your hand across the paper and wipe the words away.
And you can rewrite your belief.
Impress this piece of paper with your truth,
With the belief that serves you.
Review the belief,
Making every word just right.
And hold that belief close to your heart.
And while we know the book of beliefs always exists for us now,
We can visit this time,
This space,
In any moment,
At any time you can choose to open your book and examine your true beliefs.
So right now,
Take that new belief that you hold to your chest and bring it back with you.
Hold onto it tight,
Like a badge of honor,
A manifesto,
A declaration of truth for who you are and what you are here to accomplish.
Hold firm in your mind this belief now serves you,
Serves your higher calling,
Your highest purpose.
And bring the belief back with you.
Back to this time.
Back to where you began.
And always remembering to be oh so gentle with yourself.
Remembering to be so loving of yourself.
Notice your mind becoming awake and aware.
Notice your body begin to stir.
Feel the support within your life.
Realizing yourself as that divine perfect expression of the one.
Holding tight to that new belief.
Knowing deep inside that belief creates the life you desire.
Come back to this time.
And when you're ready,
When you're truly ready,
Simply open your eyes and become present now.
Namaste.
