This is a deep relaxation guided meditation to assist you in developing focus and concentration, in order to quiet the mind. Giving the mind three different focus points and using touch to assist you in keeping your focus one-pointed, you will be guided through three focal points- the abdomen, heart and third eye. This is a powerful meditation with the results being a quieter mind.

Relax.

Taking a very deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth,

Allowing your body to relax.

Connecting to the ground,

To the earth,

Grounded here and now.

Imagining the light and energy all around you.

Noticing as you breathe that you are breathing in this light,

This energy.

Allow your awareness now to go to the nose.

Noticing the gentle breath in and out.

With every breath relaxing more and more.

And now bringing your attention to your abdomen,

That point at the navel.

Taking two fingers and placing them right on the abdomen below the navel.

Using that for your anchor,

For your focal point.

And noticing whenever your mind starts to wander.

Just gently bringing it back to your point of focus,

Your fingers touching the abdomen.

With every breath becoming more and more relaxed.

Breathing through that point.

Imagining that you can breathe in energy through this focal point.

This anchor in the energy center.

Right under your fingers.

Focus.

Breathing in through this lower abdomen,

Expanding the navel with every breath.

Feeling the strengthening in this core.

Aware of your slow and steady breath.

Finding its perfect rhythm.

Strengthening this center.

Focus.

Breathing through this center.

Focus on your fingers,

On the point in the abdomen.

Breathing in energy.

Connecting to this point with every breath.

Slow and steady breathing.

Expanding the abdomen with every breath.

Focus on the touch.

Breathing in this energy,

This prana.

Breathing in through the abdomen.

Focus on the touch.

Strengthening the core,

The will,

The attention.

Now gently move your attention up to the heart area.

Bringing your two fingers to the heart as an anchor to return your focus to.

Focusing on the touch.

Begin to imagine that you are breathing through the heart.

As you breathe through the heart,

Begin to access the feelings of happiness within you.

Joy.

Smile.

By smiling you teach your body to feel happiness.

Train every cell in your body to be this joy and happiness through your intention.

With every breath holding the attention at the heart.

Feeling so deeply the heart space open with every breath.

Focusing on the touch.

Breathing in the heart.

As you're breathing in the heart,

Simply releasing any textures of any pain,

Suffering,

Tension.

As with every breath and opening the heart,

Allow everything to begin to melt away.

Breathing through the heart.

Focusing on the touch.

Opening the heart.

Breathing the energy into the heart.

Expanding the heart.

Focusing on the touch.

As if you could actually feel your heart itself,

The heartbeat.

Breathing through the heart.

Focusing on the touch.

Breathing through the heart.

Expanding the feelings of joy and happiness.

Smile.

Breathing through the heart.

Relaxing.

Now moving your attention upward to that point on the forehead.

That point between the eyebrows,

The mind chakra or the frontal lobe.

Holding the two fingers there as an anchor of your attention.

Relaxing the rest of your arms and body.

Allowing that point of focus to hold your attention in a relaxed and easy way.

Begin to imagine that you can actually breathe in through this point on the forehead.

Breathing in energy.

Breathing in energy to this center.

Lighting up the brain.

Imagining right under your fingers this beautiful brain lighting up,

Making new neural connections.

It's as if you're aware of light everywhere.

This entire center is lighting up under your fingers.

And although your eyes are closed,

You're aware of light everywhere.

With every breath that illumination becomes brighter and brighter.

Slow and steady breath.

Focusing on the touch.

Illuminating.

I am illuminated.

Breathing in through this point.

See the light everywhere.

Breathe it in with every breath.

I am illuminated.

Focusing on the touch.

I am illuminated.

Breathing through this point.

With every breath breathing in this light.

I am illuminated.

Relaxing your hands.

Allow yourself to rest.

Just be aware of the body,

The breath,

This moment.

Relaxing your hands.

Relaxing your hands.

Relaxing your hands.

Good method for focusing concentration - perhaps something might be added about support posture - breathing with fingers on the third eye may prove uncomfortable for some!
