Welcome to Resonance Space.
My name is Ellie and this is a meditation that is perfect for when you feel anxious,
When you need to press the reset button,
And when you want to focus on your root chakra and practice grounding.
Start with your eyes open.
That helps your mind to focus.
And especially when we're anxious,
Our mind typically is focused on the past or the future.
And keeping the eyes open will help your mind to steady.
So choose a focal point directly across from you and gently rest your eyes on it.
Give yourself a deep full breath.
And as you hold your eyes straight ahead,
Notice what's to your right.
Keeping your eyes straight ahead,
Let yourself become aware of what's to your left.
With your eyes still gently rested on your focal point,
Notice what's above you.
And now please notice what's below you.
As you take in the entire periphery of this moment,
Let everything soften and soften your eyes.
When you're ready,
Gently breathe your eyes closed and hold your present moment awareness right behind your eyes.
Right in between your eyebrows,
About two and a half inches inside of your head.
As you rest your awareness here,
Let your mind do what it does and just hold your present moment awareness right in your third eye chakra between your brows,
Two and a half inches inside of your head.
Decide that for the next few minutes,
You're going to dim down your inner critic and then bring your attention all the way down,
Down,
Down to your end of your spine.
This is the location of your first energy center called root chakra,
Muladhara chakra.
It is located right at the end of your spine,
Behind your genitals,
In front of the tip of the spine.
Give yourself a deep full breath and just notice your own energy pulsing,
Vibrating,
Swirling in your root chakra.
Imagine a deep ruby red color,
So deep that it's just like a red circle swirling in a circular motion.
Without judgment,
Criticism or evaluation,
Just notice what's present.
See if you can let yourself widen that sensation as wide as your body,
Feeling the connection to your seat,
Feeling the earth rushing up against you,
Always eager to support you.
And with your next breath,
Let your body relax 5% more.
Now imagine growing roots from your root chakra all the way down,
Down,
Down to the center of the earth,
Like a waterfall cascading all the way down,
Down,
Down,
Like an anchor reaching down,
Down,
Down to the center of the earth.
Imagine a place where you can anchor yourself,
Ground yourself and stabilize yourself.
Allow yourself to be in a state of deep deep relaxation.
Allow yourself to experience whatever you're experiencing,
Keeping your awareness on the sensation between your seat and your support.
With your next exhale,
Begin to release all your fears,
All your doubts,
All the criticism,
All the way down,
Down,
Down to the center of the earth.
Give yourself permission to let go of all the fears around finances,
Health or relationships,
And release it all the way down,
Down,
Down.
With every exhale you take,
Feel a sense of letting go.
With every exhalation,
Feel a sense of relief.
As you continue to feel your own energy swirling,
Vibrating,
Pulsing in your root chakra,
Imagine pulling fresh,
Nourishing,
Brightening vital earth energy all the way from the center of the earth all the way up your grounding cord all the way into your root chakra.
Each time you inhale,
Imagine filling your root chakra with fresh new earth energy.
As you exhale,
Continue to feel a sense of letting go,
And as you inhale,
Continue to feel a sense of radical acceptance.
Feel it coming up your legs,
Your knees,
Your thighs,
All the way into your hips,
Swirling like fresh,
New,
Bright energy.
You can ground yourself throughout your day anytime you want by bringing your awareness to the soles of your feet,
Your standing,
Or your root chakra,
Your seat connecting to the earth when you're sitting.
Gently bring your awareness back to your third eye chakra,
Right between your eyebrows about two and a half inches inside of your head.
And when you're ready,
Gently breathe your eyes open,
Fully alert,
Fully awake,
Fully grounded.
Thank you so much for listening.
Namaste.
