Namaste.

My name is Rei,

Your Transformational Soul Coach and I am so grateful you chose this meditation.

Today,

We practice gratitude for nature,

Our generous provider.

Let's begin by sitting in a comfortable position,

Hands on your lap,

Palms facing the ceiling as we turn our hearts towards the earth,

Towards our Mama Gaia,

Mother Earth,

Feeling the solidity of the ground beneath you,

Supporting you,

Holding us,

All of us,

As you continue to inhale and exhale in a natural pace,

Taking in these words,

This truth that the natural world around us is an abundant offering of lessons and gifts.

And the only way to let ourselves be open to this profound exchange,

The constant exchange of giving and receiving with nature,

We must settle into stillness.

And so to help us,

I invite us to do three physiological sighs.

What that means is you're going to take two sips of air in through your nose and exhale through the mouth very gently.

Let's do it together.

Taking in,

Two,

And all the way out,

In,

Two,

And exhale gently,

Last two sips of air in,

In,

And let go,

Feeling all your muscles relax,

Nowhere to go,

Nothing to do for the next 10 minutes or so,

Just you,

Me,

And Mama Gaia,

Knowing that as we connect to her generosity,

We in turn increase,

Expand our capacity to give as well.

And as you inhale,

Notice this gift of oxygen moving into your lungs,

This gift from the trees and the plants all around us.

And as you exhale,

Notice how you return the favor,

Return the gift to the space around you.

This exchange is our natural rhythm.

It is a part of us.

It is the balance of giving and receiving that nurtures life.

I invite you to bring to mind right now a moment in your life where you have felt supported,

Uplifted,

Maybe even awed by nature.

Maybe the sight of a vibrant sunset on the beach.

Maybe in the water,

Feeling the gentle,

Gigantic rock of the ocean.

Maybe it was at the peak of a very tall cliff or mountain.

Or snow falling from the sky,

An intricate lined pattern on a leaf.

As you bring this moment into your awareness,

A moment where you felt supported,

Uplifted,

Awed by nature,

Stay with this memory and enrich it with your breath.

As you're breathing in,

Feel that fresh air around you,

Feel the solidity and support of the earth beneath you,

Witness the generosity of the sun,

If the sun is there,

Or the shelter provided by trees,

The shadows of larger trees,

Sounds of birds,

Other animals.

The clarity you might be receiving from a running stream or waterfall.

And notice how each of these elements are a part,

All a very valuable part of this ecosystem.

They all do different things,

They have different qualities,

But all equally important.

And asking nothing in return,

Simply participating in this cycle of giving and receiving.

Take another big breath into your body,

And all the way out.

And just like how the earth absorbs the rain into its soil,

I invite you to let your body and mind fully absorb this serenity,

This peace,

Joy from the experience you're having right now in this beautiful,

Sacred place in nature.

Allow your imagination to take you further,

Deeper into the beauty around you,

The beauty that is always around us,

But we so often forget to acknowledge.

And you can do this simply with your breath.

Breathing in beauty,

And breathing it out.

Asking how this feels in your body,

Where do you feel this in your body?

Now I invite you to bring to mind an area of your life where you feel a sense of lack or scarcity.

Any feelings of lack you may feel,

Maybe in your work,

Your health,

Maybe in your relationships with the people at home,

Or outside your home.

And when you bring this to mind,

Notice the resistance,

The heaviness,

Thickness,

Discomfort,

Or tension,

Tightness that may arise.

Don't try to change it,

Don't push it away,

Don't judge it,

Simply notice.

Allow it to be there,

Like you're watching a movie.

Allowing it to simply be and rest as you breathe in,

And breathe out.

Now I invite you to let the fullness of nature's generosity that you connected with at the start to soften these spaces in your body,

In your muscle groups,

In your heart,

In your mind.

Kind of as if the beautiful feeling that we worked on,

That we enriched,

That we absorbed,

That feeling is slowly overflowing,

Pouring onto this feeling of lack and scarcity.

That what I have is not enough,

Or who I am is not enough,

My talents are not enough,

My skills are not enough,

And just letting that feeling of serenity,

That peace to flow over,

Ride over,

Enter into those spaces of resistance.

And fill it up with light,

This beautiful bright light,

Allowing this light to soften those spaces.

Letting the fullness of nature's generosity,

Breathing it in,

Come into you,

And with every exhale release any sense of lack,

Allowing a very natural flow of generosity to emerge from within you.

I have tears in my eyes because it brings me to a moment where I was on the beach all alone and I was feeling so sad,

And I allowed the sadness,

I simply allowed nature's beauty to kind of engulf,

Just swallow my sadness.

And as I did,

Tears rolled down my cheeks,

Tears of joy.

For me to be able to experience that lack and scarcity means I am able to experience the richness of life.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

Thanking the earth for how it endlessly gives and receives from a place of fullness,

And letting this fullness expand in your heart,

Knowing that through this gratitude,

Through whatever you are experiencing right now,

You are only amplifying your own ability to give.

Give to yourself and give to others.

Notice how powerful this practice is,

And I'd like to leave you with this very beautiful quote by Lao Tzu that I love,

And when you realize that there is nothing lacking,

The whole world belongs to you.

And when you realize that there is nothing lacking,

The whole world belongs to you.

Maybe turning that into an affirmation and saying,

Every time I realize that I am whole and complete,

The whole world belongs to me,

And I belong to the world.

And allowing yourself to really take that in through your breath,

Setting the intention to carry this profound sense of gratitude and generosity towards yourself,

Towards others,

Whomever that you meet today,

This week.

And may you always be reminded of your gifts,

Your worth,

Through nature,

Through her bounty.

Taking a deep breath in through the nose,

Holding it at the top,

Placing your attention at the center of your eyebrows,

Where your third eye,

Pineal gland is,

And very gently,

Very slowly,

Beginning to bring your awareness into the room,

Into the space you're sitting in,

Noticing the temperature,

Noticing how you feel right now compared to before you began this meditation and committed to sit in stillness.

What has shifted,

What has arisen?

And then very slowly,

With a smile,

Shift your posture so you feel a little bit more tall,

Place your hands on your heart,

Touching your beautiful chest,

This spiritual heart where we are always giving and receiving other people's energies,

Other people's auras,

And very slowly opening up your eyes with a smile.

Welcome,

Welcome back,

And I hope you have the most beautiful day.

If you enjoyed this meditation,

I'd love to know in the comments below,

Or through a like,

Or share it with another nature lover,

Or someone who's been missing the outdoors.

Thank you for meditating with me,

And I love you.

Rei.
