A tandem meditative practice can improve relationships increasing intimacy and relieving stress. If you are single and want to try this out you can use it to manifest your partner. If when you start you get the giggles or struggle with the intensity of the practice know that the awkward uncomfortable feeling will pass and it is alright to laugh during this practice. All emotions are okay and some people share that they laugh or shed a few tears during practice. This is your practice and this recording is a guide.

Greetings and welcome to A Couple's Meditation,

A unique meditative experience designed specifically for you and your partner.

Meditating together can create a sense of playfulness,

Fun,

And increase intimacy and make you feel connected.

Before we begin,

Check in.

Who are you and who is your partner?

What is the intention of this session?

Say it out loud with each other.

Face your partner either in lotus position or sitting.

Get close.

And here we start with our breath.

Breathing in,

We will pair our breath with your partner's breath while gazing into each other's eyes.

Together take a long slow inhalation and a long slow exhalation,

Letting go.

Whatever you were doing or thinking about prior to this session with your partner doesn't matter.

What is important is that you are here right now and your breath.

Continue to pair your breathing.

Breathing in and letting go.

Breathing in and letting go.

Sometimes when we have this opportunity to do this meditation together,

Some unpleasant stuff may come up and just witness this.

Observe it and it will pass.

There might even be some discomfort with eye gazing,

Even though you're partners.

You might feel silly or giggly.

This will pass too.

Continue to breathe,

Witnessing every sensation that comes up.

Now while looking into your partner's eyes,

Smile with your eyes.

Now smile with your lips and smile with your heart.

With your partner say,

I am here.

I am now.

I am with you and I am love.

I am here.

I am now.

I am with you and I am love.

You are loved.

You are loved.

I love you.

Practicing positive regard starts with yourself and then extends to others.

Start with your own heart center visualizing a white light.

Place your hand on your heart center and on your partner's heart center and have them do the same.

Feel the heat of your hands radiating and open your heart as you breathe.

Feel your partner's breath on your face with each exhalation letting go.

Now take each other's hands in your hands and feel that energetic flow of that connection.

You are connected and again we say,

I am love and you are loved.

I am love and you are loved,

Dear one.

Feel the love rise.

Now send it out to the world and to the universe and our meditative time has come to an end.

Please do come back to this again and again.
