Transcript

So begin by finding somewhere comfortable and start by taking three beautiful slow breaths.

And as you focus on your breath you can feel yourself starting to become more in tune with your body,

Mind and spirit.

And because you are becoming more in tune with your body,

Mind and spirit you can feel yourself connecting to the truth of who you are at the deepest level.

Beneath all of the thoughts,

Worries,

Elements within the mind connecting into the elements within the spirit and the heart,

The wisdom that lays within you.

And it's from this place of wisdom that our intuition is birthed.

It's from this place where problems are dissolved.

It's in this space that you can access your inner light.

When we release our resistance to life,

To situations and to what is,

We can enjoy the beauty and the presence of what is real right now.

Which is your beating heart,

Your oxygenating breath and your grateful spirit.

Grateful for this moment right now,

Being safe and being held and having this opportunity and this time to go inward above all else right now.

And as you breathe,

Take a moment to reflect in your mind upon the last day or two and any areas or elements where there may have been resistance show up for you.

It may have shown up in the form of an unexpressed emotion.

It may have shown up in a conflict.

It may have shown up in shutting yourself down.

However that resistance showed up for you as you reflect with your mind's eye.

Almost allow this reflection to wipe that clean like you're erasing a whiteboard with notes on it.

Just clear that.

The past no longer exists unless we replay it in the present.

And so as you clear this blank slate and take a deep breath in,

Allow yourself to meditate on the concept of resistance.

Where you feel this in your physical being and when this arises for you,

What triggers resistance.

And if there were an energy,

An emotion,

A feeling that represents the opposite to resistance for you,

What would that look like?

What would that feel like?

And how would that start becoming more of the reality of who you are?

And as you remember to focus on your breath,

Know that every time you breathe,

You're releasing resistance.

And so as you reflect on this now and you really contemplate it,

Use your body to feel what the opposite of resistance really feels like for you.

How does it feel to breathe?

What parts of you are becoming expanded?

What parts of your thinking are becoming expanded?

And what parts of your feeling?

Your energetic body are expanding in response to this opposite of resistance.

And now,

My beautiful friend,

I want you to contemplate the next few days and anything that may have been on the agenda or on the horizon in the next few days.

Where you could have been perceiving some potential future resistance.

Know that the future does not exist except in our mind when we project it into the future.

And so right now in this present moment,

There is no resistance in those future horizon moments.

So too,

If you have prepaved or expected any resistance in the future,

Take that white border razor and wipe that slate clean too.

And be present to simply what is.

Be present to the presence within you and know that that is the greatest gift you can give this reality.

That is the greatest gift you can give your loved ones,

Your colleagues.

It is the greatest gift you can give yourself.

And so as you breathe now,

Recognizing that if there is no resistance in the present moment,

Then there can exist none in the future or the past because neither of those exist.

Except for in your mind,

Which when you are present,

Dissolves that illusion.

And now with your breath,

Gently taking a deep breath and expanding your rib cage,

Expanding your shoulders and drawing your shoulders back and down and lifting your sternum,

Lifting your head.

Adjusting your physiology,

Adjusting your face so that you are taking a beautiful,

Gentle,

Genuine smile.

And if it feels supportive for you in this moment to reflect the lack of resistance and the expansion within you,

Take your arms and lift them above,

Stretching yourself so that physically you are embodying what is the opposite of resistance.

And gently place a smile on your face and as you bring your arms down,

Down,

Palms facing upward in your lap representing being open to receive.

I want you to take this time now to flood your consciousness with as many things in your life right now in the moment that you can be grateful for.

Not just one,

Not just two,

Not just three,

But as many,

Tens and tens and hundreds if you can.

And you can journal them,

You can think about them,

You can simply place your hands on your heart and live them through your movie mind,

Whatever feels most nurturing to you.

But most of all,

My beautiful friend,

I want to ask you to take this time to acknowledge yourself for truly tuning in and for being in the energetic vibration to be able to receive this message and to be able to do this powerful,

Deep inner work today.

Take a deep breath and thank yourself.

Thank yourself for showing up for the highest version and expression of yourself,

Whatever that expression looks like and feels like for you.

Thank yourself for ending comparison,

Which is futile and will do nothing but drain your energy.

And thank yourself for honoring the unique expression of individual that you are in this world and know that this unique expression of yourself is what the world is simply asking you to be.

Nothing more than what feels right for you in your open,

Non-resistant form.

In a moment,

I'm going to guide you to come back into reality.

But before you do,

Take a moment to just really bathe in this present moment.

Really bathe in your openness.

And this is a beautiful time to continue after this practice with some journaling or some reflection.

So gently starting to wriggle your fingers and toes,

Gently putting a smile on your beautiful face.

And slowly opening your eyes,

Putting the biggest,

Goofiest smile you possibly can on your face.

And I wish you love,

Joy,

Presence and so much respect for the challenges that I'm sure you're going through at this point in your journey,

As we all are getting some uniquely designed challenges at the moment.

And know that you are loved and know that your most powerful state is your open and relaxed version of you.
