This is Juliet Lever from Re-Launch My Life and this meditation is designed to take you out of anxiety and to help you access a feeling of calm within about five minutes.
So to begin with,
Please find yourself somewhere nice and comfortable and you can be sitting upright or laying down,
Whatever feels most supportive for you.
And please begin by taking a beautiful inhalation to the depth that feels supportive for you and simply exhale and with the exhalation send a message to your mind,
Your body and your spirit that it's time to slow down,
That you are safe and that it is time to relax.
As you breathe,
Repeat the mantra,
Breathe in calm.
As you exhale out,
Breathe out worry.
As you inhale,
Breathe in trust.
As you exhale,
Breathe out fear.
As you inhale,
Breathe in calm.
As you exhale,
Breathe out worry.
As you inhale,
Breathe in trust.
And as you exhale,
Breathe out fear.
The more that you breathe and repeat this mantra,
The more you can allow yourself to relax.
And as you relax,
With every breath,
You can feel yourself simply letting go.
Letting go of the thoughts that create the worried mind and reflecting upon the truth within your heart,
The wisdom from the body.
As you continue to breathe,
Focus on a feeling of relaxation and peace within you now.
Find the part within your body that is already feeling the most relaxed.
Notice where that part of you is,
Where that well of well-being begins.
And as you focus on that body sensation,
You may notice that feeling of relaxation starting to spread and become even stronger,
Knowing that where our focus goes,
Energy flows.
And so as you focus more on the part of you that feels relaxed,
The part of you that already knows how to let go,
The rest of your body can learn.
Breathe in calm.
Breathe out worry.
Breathe in trust.
Breathe out fear.
Take a moment now to really tune in to your body and simply allow your hands now to be placed upon any of your chakra points or any of the parts within your body that are calling your attention.
It may be your stomach,
It may be your heart,
It may be your lower back,
Wherever your body has been sending you pain and been asking you to pay attention,
Give it your full love and attention now.
I encourage you now to allow your mouth to gently form a really peaceful,
Natural smile.
And as you breathe in calm and breathe out anything else that you need to release,
Become aware of the sensation of feel-good endorphins and energy flowing through your body just through the simple essence of your natural graceful smile now.
Breathe in calm.
Breathe out any worry,
Any fear,
Any doubt.
Let it go.
And this can be a beautiful time for you to really tune in,
Take a pause on life and simply be.
Give yourself permission to be and know that you are safe in this moment to truly connect with yourself and be present in this moment.
As your day unfolds,
Please remember these words,
To breathe in calm,
To breathe in trust and to breathe out anything that you're feeling that is unuseful.
Know that the more that you can breathe,
The more you are in the present and anxiety can only exist when we are thinking of the future.
So be present in this moment,
Be grateful with this graceful smile on your face and take this feeling of calm into everything you do,
Everyone you speak with and every thought you think.
Simply allow yourself to take as much time as you need now,
Still with your hands wherever they feel most supportive to be connected,
Giving yourself your own loving attention and simply repeating the mantra as you breathe.
Breathe in calm.
Breathe out.
