Hi,

I'm Alice Langholt.

Welcome to Timeless.

Let's start by taking a few deep breaths together to get centered and be present in the moment.

Nice breath in and release.

Very good.

Inhale and exhale.

Feeling your muscles relax as you breathe in and breathe out all tension.

Totally relaxed.

Very good.

Now please take a moment to think of your name.

And I'd like to ask you this fun question.

If the name you have was not your name,

Would you still exist?

And of course,

The answer is yes,

Because you'd probably have some other name,

Right?

So,

Guess what?

I'd like you to just take your name as it is attached to your identity and let it float away for now,

Because your name does not define you.

You just acknowledged that your name is not you.

Very good.

Now I'd like to ask you if your job or any job you've ever had did not exist for you in this lifetime,

Would you still exist?

Meaning,

If you never had worked those jobs,

Would there still be a you?

And of course,

The answer is yes,

Because you might have gone in a different direction or taken on another job,

Whatever.

Your job is not you,

So I'd like you to take your job right now.

Any job that you feel is yours and just for now,

Let it float away.

Let it just dissolve and float away and notice that you are still here.

But you don't have to feel connected to your name or your job right now.

And take a nice deep breath,

Feeling the release of those things just for now.

Deep breath in.

And as you release,

Allow yourself to just enjoy being detached from those things right now.

Now I'd like you to think about the place you live,

Your town or city,

The state you live in,

Your surroundings,

Whether it's an apartment or a house or something else.

And if you did not live there,

Would there still be a you?

Yes.

And I'd like you to now allow your attachment to the home you live in,

This specific place.

Let that float away because it is not you.

It floats away just for now,

Leaving you untethered,

Unattached to rent or mortgage or any of the things that you might be thinking are your responsibilities in that particular home right now.

They don't exist and you don't have to deal with them.

And if you're feeling a sense of relief,

I want you to let that expand.

And now I'd like you to think of the roles that you embody,

Whether it's brother or sister or son or daughter or partner or friend.

All of these people who have been in your life,

Who are in your life,

And your attachments to them and all the complications of that relationship.

Let those things,

For now,

Float away.

Those roles which you embody in your day-to-day life.

But right now we are going to a timeless place and you don't need to put those roles on for now.

So allow yourself to release those just for now.

They will be there when you get back,

But you will feel whole and at peace.

So for now,

Those ties,

Just let go and float away like balloons.

Because right now,

They are not you and you are still here without them.

And as you exhale,

Allow the release of these things,

These identities,

And with them feel a sense of expansion of you.

Because the boundaries of your body,

Your home,

Your ties to jobs and people,

Those boundaries don't exist anymore right now.

And without those boundaries,

You are untethered and expansive.

Do you feel what you are?

What you are right now is awareness.

Awareness.

Awareness without judgment.

Awareness simply set in an unlimited peace.

Take the next couple of minutes and just let that sense of being awareness being peace to expand in all directions.

Now I'd like you to take another nice slow deep breath in and notice how you feel.

You can wiggle your toes and wiggle your fingers a little bit just to bring yourself back to this moment.

But I hope that you can take this sense of peace and awareness into your life as you reconnect with your various roles.

You can do so from a place of peace.

Peace in the midst of the world.

And I'd like you to do one more thing for me.

I'd like you to speak to this peace for a moment and just say,

Hey peace and awareness,

You're in charge now.

And allow yourself to live from that sense of peace and awareness as you go back into your day.
