Welcome back.
Laura Plahuti here.
I'm going to be guiding you through a little bit of guided breathwork and visualization today to really just connect you back to yourself.
Life can kind of take us off center sometimes,
So this is just going to be a little quick practice for you to be able to call you back home so you can find greater peace,
Greater clarity,
And greater connection to you and your authentic voice.
If you are brand new here,
Welcome.
And if you are returning,
Thank you for coming back.
I look forward to guiding you through this.
So just finding a place wherever you feel comfortable.
This could be in your car,
On your lunch break,
It could be at home,
It could be out in nature,
It could be wherever it is that you feel called to do this little practice.
Just finding that little space where you can really ideally be on your own,
Really connecting in with your own energy here for 10 minutes.
So once you've found that space,
See if you can get yourself a little bit more comfortable.
You can be sitting down,
You can be lying down,
Really just asking your body what it needs to be most comfortable right now in this moment.
Inviting you to begin bringing awareness into your body.
Just tuning into how it feels.
Any aches or pains or discomfort.
Just noticing it.
Bringing awareness to it,
Your presence to it.
And bringing awareness into your mind.
How's your mind feeling?
There are a lot of thoughts rolling through,
Thinking about all of the things going on in your life.
Once again,
Not trying to change it,
But just bringing awareness to it.
Acknowledging it.
One of the ways that you can really kind of bring a presence to it without bringing a judgment energy to it is bringing an energy of light curiosity,
Of oh isn't that interesting.
My mind seems to be running wild right now.
Or my body seems to be feeling kind of uncomfortable right now.
Oh that's interesting.
Right?
Because all of these things,
Our minds,
Our bodies,
It's just bringing awareness.
And from that awareness,
We have choice of what we then are able to do moving forward or what we want to do moving forward in order to create a new reality.
So just taking note of where you're currently at right now.
Inviting you if you haven't already to close your eyes down.
Tuning into your breath.
Feeling your breath moving in and out of your body.
Taking note of what parts of your body are moving with that breath.
Is it your chest?
Is it your belly?
Your shoulders moving?
Your head?
Your neck?
Pelvis?
Maybe it's a little bit of everything.
On your next inhale,
Beginning to make your breath a little bit longer,
A little bit slower.
Good.
Just consciously slowing it down.
Breathing in through your nose and holding it up at the top.
And then exhaling out through your mouth.
Good.
Continuing to allow that breath to gradually get a little bit slower.
A little bit longer.
Not forcing anything.
Just setting that intention.
Inviting you if you feel called on the exhale to make any audible noises.
This is where I like to make the most weirdest noises.
And trust me,
It feels so great when you just allow yourself to just fully express whatever is wanting to come through.
It may not sound pretty and that's okay.
So just giving yourself that permission to just be fully authentically you.
Letting go of any tension,
Any stress.
On that exhale,
Grunting,
Sighing.
Letting it all go.
And on those inhales,
Breathing in lightness.
Relaxation.
Safety.
Knowing that everything is going to be okay.
And then exhaling out anything that's no longer serving you.
Feeling your body relaxing.
More and more.
Every exhale.
And every inhale.
Continuing this breath.
If you'd like to bring in some visuals.
On your exhale,
You can imagine that you're exhaling a really dark color.
Down through your body.
Down either through the base of your tailbone or down through the bottom of your feet.
Down and just offering it down to the earth.
Feeling it release from your body.
And with every inhale,
Breathing in a beautiful bright color that you love.
Seeing it coming through the crown of your head.
The very top of your head.
And filling you up from the inside.
Continuing this breath.
And this visualization.
As long as you need.
Bringing awareness back into your body.
And tuning back in.
Checking in with your body and seeing how it feels.
My hope for you is that it feels lighter.
More comfortable.
A little bit calmer.
And tuning back into your mind.
And just doing a little check in with your mind.
Seeing how your mind feels.
Continuing that long,
Slow breath.
Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.
And taking a moment to tune into your heart.
The center of your being,
Your core.
And setting an intention.
For the rest of your day moving forward of what you would love to have happen.
Intentions are very powerful.
That's what we focus on,
We find.
So tuning into what you would love to have happen moving forward on this day.
It can be one word,
It can be a sentence.
I would love to have more ease.
More flow.
More clarity.
More calmness.
More peace.
Seeing what word wants to come through or what sentence wants to come through.
Once you have that intention.
Taking three big deep cleansing breaths.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
Anchoring in this intention.
Feeling it moving through all of your cells of your body.
Feeling you opening up to receive it.
Thanking yourself for this brief practice.
Coming back home to yourself.
And when you're ready.
Beginning to open up your eyes.
Taking a look around.
Tuning back into yourself.
Wishing you an amazing day moving forward.
Allowing that intention to come through for you.
