Welcome to this guided meditation for calming the body.

Have you ever noticed that your mind and body are actually connected?

When the mind grows agitated,

The body follows suit.

And sometimes we can get stuck in emotional and thought loops that keep us in perpetual discomfort without even knowing it.

And these moods can then turn into behavioral traits and our sense of identity.

Instead of simply an experience that we are having in the moment.

So when we hold emotions such as fear or anger or paranoia among many other low vibration emotions in our bodies,

It keeps us seeing the world through this lens.

We may become fearful,

Skeptical and or hesitate,

Which may keep us living with limited behaviors that don't allow us to create the lives that we truly desire.

We live through a more reactive state.

Now,

I used to think that people were simply born more positive or more capable of higher success than me.

It led me to never fully try because subconsciously,

I believed that I wouldn't be successful.

Why bother?

It wasn't until I started learning about practices such as this one that I'm about to guide you through,

That I realized that it was possible for me to reprogram the way my mind and body responded to the world outside of me.

That I could live in a responsive state opposed to always being in a reactive state.

I learned that it was indeed possible for me to live life with a sense of inner peace,

Presence,

Love and joy,

Which allowed me to see the world through a different lens.

Have you ever noticed that when you were in a good mood,

Life just seems easier,

Things seem to flow?

You're more open to see new possibilities for yourself and you also have the energy to actually take action toward receiving the specific result that you desire.

And I want you to imagine how your life would shift if you could live in these higher vibrational states more often.

What do you see would be possible for your life?

Feel free to pause this recording to write down two to three things that you dream of having,

But they seem a bit far-fetched from where you currently are.

When you're complete with that,

Continue listening to this and come along on a journey with me to move you deeper within your body,

Where you'll begin to see new possibilities emerge for yourself.

Welcome back.

So when the mind grows agitated,

The body often follows suit.

Luckily,

The relationship between mind and body is a two-way street.

So as you learn to calm the body,

The mind will also relax.

And it's a powerful way to encourage the body to relax,

And absolutely anybody can do it.

So inviting you to pick a position in which you would like to do this exercise,

You can do it sitting,

Standing,

Or laying down.

I always personally prefer to lay down and get comfy cozy,

Somewhere where you can fully surrender and relax.

This exercise can be done anywhere or anytime you need to calm down.

So inviting you when you're ready to allow your eyes to gently close,

Tuning into the sensation of breathing at your nostrils,

Taking some nice,

Big,

Deep belly breaths,

Allowing your belly to expand,

Your belly to expand out like a big balloon,

Then allowing your rib cage to start expanding,

And then having your chest be that very last thing that rises,

And then exhaling out through your mouth,

Continuing to do a few nice,

Slow,

Big,

Deep breaths,

Right from the base of that belly,

With an audible exhale,

Just allowing and releasing any energy that feels a little bit pent up.

And it may take a few big,

Deep breaths for you to really be able to arrive into this present time experience that you're having.

Feeling the weight of your body down on the surface beneath you,

Feeling how safe you are,

How held,

How secure you are,

Just letting your mind and body know that it's safe to relax.

So I'm going to guide you through a little visualization,

So you can just feel free to follow along.

So as you breathe in with your next breath,

Paint a picture,

Your arm filling with the energy of the breath.

And as you breathe out,

Imagine pushing that breath energy out through your fingertips.

So guiding you to your left arm,

Bringing your awareness into your left arm,

And with every inhale,

Breathing in beautiful light energy,

This safe,

Nurturing,

Warm energy,

And as you exhale,

Imagine pushing that energy all the way down through your left arm,

All the way through the tips of your fingertips.

Continuing on your next breath in,

Breathing in this warm,

Safe,

Loving energy,

And exhaling it down through that left arm,

All the way out through those fingertips.

And when the mind wanders off into thought,

Gently bringing it back up,

Into thought,

Gently bringing it back to the breath.

Continuing to have those slow inhales,

Breathing in love and safety and nurturing warm energy,

And exhaling it through that left arm,

All the way at those fingertips.

Continuing to do this with your left arm,

Filling this arm with this breath energy,

Noticing how things are starting to relax.

Once you're finished this last breath,

Bringing your awareness now to your right arm,

Continuing with these nice,

Slow,

Big,

Deep breaths,

Breathing in this warm,

Nurturing,

Loving energy,

And exhaling it down through your right arm,

All the way out the fingertips,

Releasing any energy that's no longer serving you,

Letting it all go.

It's no longer yours to hold.

With every inhale,

Breathing in more love,

More safety,

And more presence with what you're currently experiencing.

Not trying to forcefully push it away,

Just gently acknowledging it and moving it through the body.

We're continuing with one last breath on that right arm,

And exhaling it all the way down through your right arm,

All the way out those fingertips.

Now shifting your awareness into your torso,

And using your breath,

Breathing in this beautiful,

Loving,

Warm,

Nurturing energy,

And exhaling it down through your entire chest and abdomen,

Feeling everything soften,

Feeling everything relax that little bit more,

Pushing that breath down and out through the bottom of your spine and your tailbone as you exhale,

Continuing to breathe those nice,

Big belly breaths,

Breathing in love and warmth and safety,

Breathing it all the way down through your chest and your abdomen,

Allowing it to move any energy that's no longer serving you,

Both the bottom of your spine and your tailbone as you exhale.

If you feel any tension in that abdomen or torso area,

Just consciously bringing your breath into those spaces,

Noticing that as you breathe into them,

They soften and they relax,

And allows you to go a little bit deeper.

Inviting you to do one last big,

Slow,

Deep breath,

Starting all the way from the base of that belly,

Allowing your rib cage to expand and your chest to rise,

And then exhaling all the way down through your body,

All the way out that tailbone,

Releasing anything that's no longer serving you.

Now moving into your left leg,

With every inhale,

Breathing in that breath,

And exhaling it down that left leg,

And pushing that breath all the way through the bottom of your foot.

With every exhale,

Removing any energies that are no longer serving you,

Allowing you to come a little bit deeper into this place of stillness.

This place of presence with yourself,

Opening yourself up to experience the stillness.

Whenever your mind wanders away,

Just gently bringing it back,

Back into that breath.

Doing one last nice,

Big,

Deep breath in,

Breathing in that love and that warmth and that nurturing soft energy,

And exhaling it all the way down that left leg,

All the way out to the bottom of the foot,

That left leg all the way out to the bottom of the foot,

Relaxing that little bit more,

Inviting you to bring your awareness into your right leg.

Just noticing if you can feel a difference between the right and the left.

With every inhale,

Breathing in that warm,

Loving,

Nurturing energy,

And exhaling it now down through that right foot,

All the way through your leg,

All the way down the bottom of that foot,

Allowing that right leg to relax a little bit more.

Again,

Allowing yourself one last big inhale,

And exhaling that beautiful,

Soft,

Gentle,

Relaxing energy down through that right leg,

All the way out the bottom of that foot,

Releasing anything that's no longer serving.

Now on this last one,

You're going to breathe in,

And you're going to exhale it through your entire body,

Starting from your head,

Imagining the body being filled with the energy of the breath from head to toe.

And as you exhale,

Letting the breath move through the fingertips,

The base of the spine,

And the bottom of your feet,

Feeling it remove and taking away anything that is no longer serving you,

Feeling your body surrender these sensations,

No longer holding on to them,

No longer holding on to them because they're not yours to hold,

Releasing,

Releasing,

Releasing.

And with another inhale,

Breathing in this beautiful,

Loving,

Warm,

Nurturing energy,

And exhaling it all the way down from your head,

Your neck,

Down your torso,

Down your arms,

Out your fingertips,

Down through out your spine,

All the way down your legs,

And out through the bottom of your feet.

I'm just taking a moment to come into stillness,

Just bringing awareness to and acknowledging how your body feels,

Feeling the weight of your body down on the surface beneath you,

Allowing any emotion that wants to come through to come through,

Inviting you if you feel called to shake out your body,

Giving your body a little shake,

Shaking your arms,

Shaking your legs,

Just moving the energy that's there.

Awesome.

Inviting you when you're ready to begin gently opening up your eyes,

Coming back into the space,

And just taking a moment to look around,

Noticing if anything feels different,

If your perception has changed,

Maybe things feel slower,

You feel a little bit more in control of what's happening,

Feel a little bit more empowered,

Taking a moment if you feel called to just journal,

And just write down how you're feeling,

Any insights that came up for you throughout this practice,

Knowing that this is a practice you can come back to whenever you feel called,

Whenever you feel like you need a little reset,

Allowing you to move from the mind back into the body,

To reprogram you back into presence,

It is the present moment where you have the opportunity to be able to respond to what life is blessing you with,

And even in the midst of challenge,

Life seems a little bit slower,

Like there's a little bit more space to find solutions,

Navigate your way through whatever obstacle is in your way,

It seems a little bit more possible for you to be able to learn and to grow through the experiences that are here for you in the present moment,

It allows you the stillness to be able to pause and reflect,

Maybe there's some support that you need in your life,

What would it look like for you if you can move through life a little bit more intentionally,

A little more grounded,

Clear,

Taking a moment to just sit with these thoughts,

And feeling into what you're feeling,

And feeling into what you can see may now be possible,

That wasn't possible 23 minutes ago when you were in this reactive state,

And taking a moment to deeply honour yourself and celebrate yourself,

Can be easy for us to want to stay caught up in these old patterns,

Because they're simply comfortable,

But it takes courage and strength to be able to try something new,

And to follow that deep knowing that there is something greater in this lifetime for yourself,

Keep listening to that voice,

And you'll be absolutely amazed with where you lead yourself,

I hope you enjoyed this exercise,

And I will see you on the next one,

Ciao ciao!
