We live in a time where the expectation to be more than what we currently are, floods our minds. In this soothing meditation, you are encouraged to take four minutes to focus your attention upon the appreciation for what and who you already are. This brief break of gratitude is perfect for resetting your mind, beginning your day or closing your evening with a positive outlook.

Welcome to this guided meditation.

I will be walking you through this journey of gratitude.

Let's start by slowing down,

Breathing gently,

And fixing attention on this present moment.

During this meditation,

My words will be few.

And if you notice your attention being pulled away from the sensation of gratitude,

Exhale and gently bring it back to center.

Right now,

I want you to begin breathing in deep through the nostrils and exhaling through the mouth.

Repeat.

Inhale.

Now breathe out,

Exhale.

Now on this third cycle of breathing,

I want you to take in the sensation of thankfulness.

Ready.

Take it in.

Hold.

Three.

Two.

One.

Release.

Repeat.

Inhale this sensation of thankfulness.

Ready.

Hold the breath.

Exhale.

Bring your attention to all the things that help bring in the sensation of thankfulness.

From the smallest things of your day to the largest detail of your life.

Whatever is making that sensation of appreciation burn brightly inside of you,

Bring your attention to it and hold.

Don't let it go.

Wonderful.

Repeat this exercise of holding your attention on the sensation of thankfulness.

Blessings.
