I invite you,
Wherever you are right now,
To just start to get comfortable and relax.
And you can keep your eyes open or you can close them.
It doesn't really matter.
Whatever feels right for you.
And you can actually start with something so simple as noticing your breath.
And you might even notice that as you become aware of your breath,
It starts to change.
And that can be a signal that the one who is noticing can stop and open and drop down into an even deeper level of relaxation.
And I don't know what it's like for you to relax.
Perhaps that can even start with a relaxation of your eyes.
Sometimes we don't notice,
But our eyes can feel strained from focusing so much.
So what if you just let them rest simply by putting your attention on them?
What if they could float in the jacuzzi of your head?
Just lay on their backs,
Floating and resting.
That can feel so good.
I don't know if there's any other parts of your body that might be feeling tension.
You can actually do a very simple scan and start to check it out.
If there are any knots or stress or tension in the body,
If you could simply put your awareness on them and let them start to heal and come to rest as you relax even deeper.
And you may be following every suggestion I'm making,
Or perhaps you're not at all.
And that doesn't really matter because a part of you has already fallen deeper inside.
And sometimes it just takes the conscious mind a moment to catch up.
But what if wherever you are right now is just right as it is?
What if nothing in this moment has to change at all?
And what if you could become aware of a certain silence deep within?
A certain stillness deep within?
And I wonder just how silent that stillness is and just how still that silence is.
And I wonder if there's any difference between that silence deep within and the silence between my words?
What if the words themselves weren't so important?
But your attention could be more focused on the space between them.
I wonder if that spaciousness is any different than the space around your body?
If right now you were to feel the space around your body,
And if you can't,
That's okay.
You can just make believe that you can feel the space around your body.
I wonder if you can tell where that space begins and your body ends,
Or where your body begins and that space ends.
It can be such a mystery.
And that mystery really is just a signal that the one who's aware can once again stop and open and drop even deeper.
I wonder from here,
You could put your attention on your emotional body.
Now I don't know what that means for you,
But perhaps there's a situation that came up in your life recently,
A circumstance that sparked some emotion for you.
And I don't know what that emotion is,
But what if you could turn your attention to it now?
Without needing to do anything,
Without needing to make it change or go away,
What if you could simply start by acknowledging what it is and what it feels like?
Does it have a certain temperature?
Does it have a certain vibration or sensation?
Is there a pressure or a weight to it?
And where do you feel it?
And does it move from there or does it stay in the same place?
And what if now that you've acknowledged what it is,
You could actually let go of the label?
And give yourself so fully to whatever it is you feel.
And what you might find is that even deeper than that,
There's actually another emotion.
That's right.
Sometimes they can be layered.
And so I wonder as you acknowledge what's deeper,
How that emotion feels for you.
Noticing all the different attributes of what it feels like.
And again,
Not needing to change it or needing it to go away.
What if you didn't need to do anything at all other than just simply feel what's here?
You could be really gentle with yourself and curious what happens if you put your attention fully on what's deeper.
And you might find that there could be another emotion under that one.
And so taking your curiosity even deeper,
I wonder what's underneath.
Just simply and naturally feeling what's here to be felt.
Perhaps with a certain tenderness,
Can you be tender with yourself and what you feel?
I wonder what it would be like to have full permission to open to what's here.
And what if that one who's opening could stop and drop so deeply into the feeling that you get lost in it so that there's no more you,
But just the feeling.
I don't know what it would be like to merge with it fully.
But perhaps you can find out what are emotions made of?
Do they have any substance to them?
And perhaps you can also notice what's deeper than any of these emotions that are always coming and going.
What's here regardless of what emotion you feel?
And what if you gave yourself fully to that?
Now I don't know what this experience is like for you,
But perhaps there's some insight that can come out of this,
Some learning that's just right for you.
And you can take a moment now to let that learning fall so deeply into your subconscious.
What if there's no need to hang on to it or bring it with you,
But rather just to trust that whatever needed to be felt was felt and whatever needed to be learned was learned.
And you can let everything go now.
Can feel so good to let everything go,
To put down every burden,
Every strategy,
And to just be as you are.
What if who you were was pure love?
And if you can't feel that,
What if you just pretend?
What if you just make believe that you were pure love?
What would it be like to live your life as pure love?
To do whatever your work is as pure love.
To enter your relationships as pure love.
And so that everyone you speak to,
You transmit pure love.
That's very good.
You're doing really well.
And so you can start to come back up now.
And you can let body awareness fully return as you return to the surface.
But just because you return to the surface,
What if you could actually still somehow stay in the depths?
It's such a mystery,
Just like life itself,
A mystery that is constantly unfolding.
And what if you can live it from a place of wonder and curiosity?
Thank you very much for listening.
