This Chronic Pain Meditation is designed to help you feel calmer and more at ease in the face of the challenge of living with chronic pain. I wanted a track that said 'you can do this, you don't need to be afraid of your pain' at the same time as validating the truth of living with chronic pain. Sending huge love to all my fellow chronic pain warriors. Each day at a time. There are two versions of this track, one with music and one without, as everyone has different preferences.

Welcome to this meditation for chronic pain.

Find a quiet and comfortable spot where you can settle in and adjust your surroundings to make yourself as at ease as possible.

Whether you choose to sit,

Lie down or move in a way that feels good,

Allow your body to find its own comfort.

Take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth,

Releasing tension with each exhale.

Breathe in and out,

In and out.

If it feels right for you,

Let out a low,

Soothing hum as you exhale,

Letting the vibrations ease your discomfort.

These practices encourage the release of natural,

Soothing hormones that can help alleviate pain.

Breathe in,

Return to your breath now,

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

I trust my body.

I am calm.

I am safe.

I am resilient.

My body is capable and I am learning to transform my relationship with pain.

I no longer let pain control me.

I am ready to release any fear or anxiety that accompanies this pain.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

I trust my body to guide me to the positions and movements that bring relief.

I completely trust my body to handle this.

I am prepared to sit with this pain,

To ride each wave of discomfort one breath at a time.

In and out.

In and out.

I accept and embrace the sensations in my body.

This pain is a part of me and I am strong enough to navigate through it.

I trust in my body's ability to endure.

I am amazed by the strength and resilience I possess.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

With each wave of pain,

I find it easier to let go.

As I connect more deeply with my body,

I surrender to it,

Knowing it knows exactly what to do.

I allow myself to be vulnerable and release any fear I have around this pain.

I let go,

Trusting my body to lead.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

I let the waves wash over me,

Allowing myself to sink deeper into relaxation.

My body moves instinctively,

Releasing tension and finding ease.

I breathe deeply and calmly,

Helping my body to let go.

I trust my body and I hold no resistance.

I am free,

I am safe,

I am whole.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

There are moments when the pain feels overwhelming,

But I trust myself to get through this.

Everything I need is already within me.

I trust in my innate power and wisdom to guide me through this experience.

I allow myself to relax completely with full trust in my body's knowledge.

All my muscles soften and relax,

From my head to my neck,

Shoulders,

Arms,

Back and chest,

Down through my belly,

Hips,

Legs,

Knees and feet.

I feel in control and I am at peace.

In and out.

In and out.

I am held,

I am safe,

I am whole.

There is nothing more powerful than the strength I carry within me,

Even this pain.

When the pain comes,

I let go with all that I have,

Trusting my body and breath to guide me.

All is well,

All is fine.

I am safe,

I am calm.

I have what it takes to handle this and I know just what to do.

I am powerful.

I am strong.

I can do this.

I can do this.

I can do this.

I can do this.

I felt so seen listening to this as I’m currently experiencing chronic pain and have been through numerous medical diagnostics…. all yielding no clear diagnosis! Thank you for creating this meditation as dealing with chronic pain can be so incredibly frustrating and alienating!
