Breath awareness is exactly what it sounds like - just simply become aware of the breath. When our monkey mind tries to take over - our breath is a tool that we can come back to at any given moment. Focusing on the breath helps bring us into the present moment. Enjoy the bliss! XO Rave

Hello,

Beautiful human.

My name is Raven,

And I'm going to lead you through a five-minute breath awareness meditation.

Go ahead and either lie down or sit in a comfortable seat.

As you're getting comfortable,

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

And then open mouth exhale.

Let's do that one more time.

Deep breath in through your nose,

And then open mouth,

Sigh it out.

Let it go.

If you haven't already,

Close your eyes.

You are the awareness.

You are the experiencer.

Really just become aware of your breath.

Following your inhale and your exhale without changing it.

Just your natural breath.

Be curious about your breath.

Have passion for your breath that you're just watching it so closely.

The inhales and the exhales.

Give it all your focus and attention right now.

The in and the out.

In and out.

Where your awareness goes,

Energy flows.

Notice the texture.

Is it shallow?

Is it deep?

How's the speed?

Just observe and just watch.

The inhale and the exhale.

Notice how the mind wants to keep working.

Always thinking about what you did yesterday or the past.

Or thinking about what you're going to do after this meditation or the future.

Focusing on the breath helps bring us into the present moment.

What are you doing right now?

You are just breathing right now.

So truly be in this moment by focusing on what you're doing.

Just breathing.

The inhales and the exhales.

If you've already gotten lost in thought,

Come on back to your breath.

You can notice your thoughts and then watch them drift away like clouds in the sky.

Our breath is a tool that we can come back to at any given moment.

Just focus on your breath.

The in and the out.

The inhale and the exhale.

You are meant to be right here.

Just breathing.

That's it.

The inhale and the exhale.

To end our practice,

Take one big deep breath in through your nose.

And then open mouth,

Exhale.

Let it all go.

Thank yourself for showing up to do this breath awareness meditation.

Enjoy the rest of your day or evening.

Cheers.

You
