This meditation is aimed at helping you to identify and release the negative self-talk about self and/or about others to free yourself and help you to cultivate greater inner peace. Research shows that our brain has neuroplasticity and neurons that fire together, wire together. We have the ability to rewire our brain through meditation for peak performance.

Transcript

Join me for a guided meditation to release the inner critic,

Releasing the blocks that no longer serve.

Go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable spot.

Feel your feet firmly planted against the floor or the ground.

Imagine you connecting to the resonance of the earth.

Maybe your feet begin to vibrate and breathe in through your mouth,

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Tune into the stillness.

Allow the mind's chatter to fade.

Imagine the sun beaming through every cell nerve and fiber of your being,

Enveloping you with a luminous light throughout your being.

And as the mind quiets,

Tune into your heart and ask yourself,

What is one thing that you've been telling yourself that's holding you back?

What are some of the things you've been telling yourself,

That inner critic,

That chatter in the background?

And imagine that you're telling yourself that and you're watching yourself say those things and feel into how it feels to watch that.

And so go ahead and breathe in through your nose,

Truth and clarity and breathe out through your mouth.

Anything you no longer need.

Connect with yourself.

Feel into your heart.

And if there are any aspects within yourself,

Fragmentations,

The part of yourself that does not feel in alignment,

Old negative beliefs about self or others.

Continue to just notice in the stillness what that chatter is telling you.

And see if you can tap into that aspect of your mind,

That negativity that runs in the background,

Then you can also tap into positivity.

But beyond negative or positive,

There's the still space within yourself,

Without the story,

That place of neutrality that isn't bound by a belief or an identity.

Like I'm a good parent or I'm a bad parent,

A good teacher,

A bad teacher,

A good writer,

A not so good writer.

See if you can breathe into your heart and feel this luminous light like you're giving yourself an internal cleansing.

Like you're taking a bath from the inside bathing into the luminous light from the sun pouring through you.

And notice as you breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Anything that's not truth just becomes highlighted.

Anything that's no longer serving you gets brought into awareness.

Take a moment to notice.

Drop into the stillness.

If there are any beliefs of I'm not good enough,

Or I should be more.

Drop into that stillness within and notice what happens to those thoughts.

Identify where you are good enough,

Where you are enough.

But beyond good enough or not good enough,

See if you can sink into the stillness like you're identifying that you've been in an old play,

Playing the role of a character.

And you choose to drop the curtain,

Dropping the play,

The story that no longer serves.

You are not just a mother,

A student,

A teacher,

A worker.

You are more than your identity.

Notice is that critic mind that critical mind that voice gets softer.

Positive aspects of the truth of who you are,

Become tuned up.

And even more than that,

All the sound.

Just becomes muted in the stillness and the old story fades as that curtain drops down again.

Free from the play that you project about yourself.

And dropping down into stillness,

Deeper into the truth of who you really are.

You no longer have to be bound down by the puppet strings.

But the unconscious projects.

You have the freedom in this deep stillness to notice the thoughts that no longer serve.

And you cut the puppet strings.

Feel into the light,

Allowing yourself to be filled with the light in this luminous tube.

Every cell nerve and fiber of your being blasting through truth by letting go.

Go ahead now and take some time moment in silence to just be.

And when I come to three,

You can go ahead and open your eyes.

If you decide that you'd like to meditate longer than go ahead and do so.

One,

Two,

And three,

Opening your eyes to a brand new day.

Deeper into the truth of who you are.

Emerging into greater awareness.
